I am not open to an edit war on the wiki. If you want to gauge support for two-letter vs one-letter abbreviations, I suggest starting a poll.
I will note that our internal spreadsheets actually do use two-letter abbreviations; the reason I originally selected one-letter abbreviations for the damage type templates on the wiki was to keep things as compact as possible. This wasn't because of the bestiaries, but actually because of the quite-large tables on some of the weapons pages.

What on earth is going on in this thread? None of you are even talking about the wiki anymore, your all countering each others arguments trying to take the higher moral ground. I've been trying to avoid this thread due to the festering pile its become, but its getting hard to. If your really going to be starting an edit war over this, we'll be locking the templates. In the meantine, grow up. edit: acaos beat me to it. decide, poll or lock, your choice.

To Starlandra, Cata and Niarte: You have done quite a job of making me feel unappreciated and unwelcome. Please consider walking a mile in someone's shoes before judging them in the future. I was trying soo hard to ignore this but I just can't... MAN UP! You are worse then me or ANY of my friends during PMS... I feel unappreciated... boohoo... *PUKES* Touchy-Sensitive men belong in the 90's where we can forget about them... AND PLEASE until just now, tell me where I judged you? I stated a simple fact, you are not the wikigod, you don't have editorial rights to others works. That is not judgment, that is stating fact. So bottom line (wow am I gonna sound like Niarte here... spooky) Grow up, and grow a pair. Of course you have done great work, don't ruin it with Dictator demands, and crybaby complaints... Now log in and go kill some stuff, get that Machismo level up, and bask in the Testosterone beauty that awaits you. I love you Star.... ~ DC

An excellent idea! I've moved the example critter to its own bestiary page and transcluded it into the Hells/Abyss pages so it only needs to be edited once when more options are added.

Added some infos on the Maze/Dachy to HGWiki. BTW, is there a spoiler policy on this wiki i. e. to NOT post something? There is no such policy, though if you must post something that could be regarded as a spoiler, it would be considerate to note that beforehand in the event that someone does not want to see a spoiler. Alternatively, if your spoiler information is segmented such that it can be easily removed without compromising the integrity of the page, you might want to consider a show/hide functionality, implemented as follows: In other news, with the latest update several of the class pages have changed and the Greater Smite ability has had its basic information consolidated into one page rather than repeated on the page for each class. Also, if you don't know how to use the Test Chamber, you can now read up on it!

Great work. While looking at the items: What is the "extraordinary spell reach feat" on the Eye of Deception?

Great work. While looking at the items: What is the "extraordinary spell reach feat" on the Eye of Deception? It increases the range of spells by a set amount. The difference isnt huge, but notable. It is worth mentioning that unlike asmo artifacts, abyssal vestiges can be crafted.

Created a new page for resumes about open subraces builds wiki.hgweb.org/wiki/Open_Subrace_Buildsits very important that you use the template already used (including the style and class) so that the description will only appear when you click on {show}. If you want to edit the way its being described by adding a new category or eliminating one (or any other kind of idea) please contact me first by PM or posting so we can discuss about it. But its not required for you to do this, only if you feel like doing it as the wiki can be modified by everybody Thx and all comments are welcome PS.: feel free to fix my english typos;

Been a while since I've checked in; the following pages have been added/completed: - Getting Started: A definitive guide for any player new to Higher Ground or Neverwinter Nights, designed to get players the files they need, get them into the server, and get them into the action!
- SIMTools: Overview of the script package, how it is used on Higher Ground, and some frequently used commands.
- Reincarnation: Everything you ever wanted to know about reincarnation
- Legendary Levels: This page has been completely reworked, adding details about the script package and the specific benefits on Higher Ground.
- Custom Changes: Documenting all of the custom changes to feats, skills, and equipment, this page offers an at a glance look at just how much has been changed.
- Story: The storyline is finally complete to the point I am satisfied with, having more revealed early on with more sparse details available for the endgame areas. Check it out, if you think you know all the lore HG has to offer, you might be surprised!
Next on my list is the creation of some sort of party guide, incorporating pieces of the party etiquette post, as well as perhaps porting dod's newbie guide into wiki form.
