It would be nice to see more of the Tomes and Librams introduced into the game.
Also in the current game its easy to get the book and then it give it away to friends and other characters as people do transfer.
It would be nice to see the tomes locked in a lecturn that way you have to use it or leave it!

I agree with you 100%. Definately need more tomes available! So far there is only one significant one that I'm aware of in the mod, and that's Alokkair's spell book

Tomes and lebrams interesting. To be able to pick up a plus on any attribute, but the set back would be everyone having 40+ attributes, talk about stacked so there is an interesting arguement for and against. personally just have some books that give small amounts of xp and abilities.

make a script that adds an int variable to a person if they use a book... string sTag=GetTag(OBJECT_SELF); SetLocalInt(oPC, sTag, 1); that's not the whole script...just an example... anyway in plain english, it would allow you to only let each person use a book 1 time...throw maybe 2-3 books into the game that give 1 lvl or like ####xp, maybe 1-2 that boost a single stat by 1...that would ensure that no one could abbuse them, but still get a little bonus...and set a lvl limit for lvling books to lower than 30...that way no one could just save the books for the last 3 *toughest* lvls to get. just an idea for you guys...

Ok, now that the server is back up, I have some time to address other stuff. You're probably sick of hearing this, but I am planning to add alot of unique use items in the near future, including tomes. That's actually what wall of stone was gonna be originally. As to stat adders, they might be a possibility once we switch databasing methods, but we probably wont go too far down that path, it would throw balance a bit out of whack. And keeping them to single use is easy, via database tagging, like we do for the curretn librams, but you cant use local ints, Box, because they disappear after every reset. Best, Funky
