Greetings all!
I'm new to Higher Grounds, just found out about this server few weeks ago. And I'm really enjoying it!
I have couples ideas, and want to see what ya'll think about it.
1) Druid/Ranger epic pet is HUGE, I mean really huge. Is there any reason why make it so huge? I couldn't use it indoor or dungeon cuz of it size. Our regular animal companion is not that big and I thought epic pet was supposed to be upgrade of it since animal companion is not good past 15+ level.
2) I think Dwarven Defender class should get Dwarven Waraxe feat for free. It make sense, Dwarven Defender shold able to use its own race weapon! *shrug* Just a ideas!
That all for now. Please feel free to let me know what you think!

As to the epic pets, they are big for a reason - to help block enemies from the caster.
As for the dwarven battleaxe 'feat', that's actually the exotic weapon proficiency. They are classed in that way on the theory that they are more tricky to use than other weapons, for everyone. It wouldn't make any sense to give DD's access to all exotics for free, and wouldn't advisable from a game balance perspective either, since DD's aren't exactly a weak class.
Thanks for the ideas, please let us know about any others you may think of.
Best, Funky

I don't mean to give DD all of exotic weapon for free. Just Dwarven Waraxe. Just like Elf get Longsword and Longbow feat for free. But I understand your perspective on balancing.

Well the problem is from our standpoint, the Dwarven Waraxe is contained in the Exotic Weapons category, and we can only give someone proficiency for a weapon in that category by giving them proficiency for the whole category. What you see for elves is actually a feat (Weapon Proficiency Elf) and there are no feats currently in the game that could give Dwarven Waraxe proficiency to a DD.
While I'm not certain on the extent of the feasibility of custom coding the proficiency, I'm sure it would be a very long and arduous process (requiring calls to several 2da files) if it were even possible.
