i was thinking about useless feats and i seem to think that 1d4 extra damage to sacrifice all other attacks really seems pointless. idk if ne1 else agrees but maybe there is something u can do about that.

Yup, it's useless. Nothing we can do about it directly, without a hak, and the only hak we use is CEP. We could make it a prerequisite for a class ability, however. Suggestions welcome. Funky

Maybe you could make it that a barbarian who has the feat dirty fighting and rage gets an item that allows him to enter "dirty rage" once per day. The bonus would have to be high if it is only once, or you could make it unlimited times but it uses up a rage, and put something small like noncumulative str damage to opponents, or extra damage, or it could wound. Just a thought...

What a horrifying picture..."Dirty rage"...a large, smelly, unwashed, fur clad barbarian jumps all over the target monster...biting their ears and kneeing them in the crotch and pulling hair and the like...

I was thinking a bit more, and I thought that this could be turned into a QuasiClass, maybe called: Savage. It could combine the dirty fighting feat, barbarian levels, maybe the called shot feat, and also maybe rouge levels? (for hitting where it hurts) You could have things like "eye gouging" - blinding attack, "finger biting" - massive penalties to opponents attack, "foot stomping " - accumulative speed decrease, "kneeing" - paralyzing attack. The ideas are limitless... and fun!

Sounds more like a street thug than a savage, but that's basically the idea I was stirring, too.

this idea is alot like a bar fight i think so let me add on: dont forget "head bashing" tempary stuns target or how about "elbowing": knockdown or how about "Karate chop" does bluegoning damage. and OF COURSE cant for get "Mid section kick" stuns and does wounding damage

Does that mean you like the idea? I admit it sounds a bit awkward to implement. (could you make an item which has multiple different "special power" abilities and then it could be quicksloted a few times to allow you to use special attacks) if the idea seems too underpowered to be a whole quasiclass you could forget that and simply make it that a char with the dirty fighting feat, enough levels of barbarian and maybe some other prerequisite - like the feat "thug" too - would automatically get this item. (if it's good enough, that should encourage people to want to take it)

Does that mean you like the idea? No, it mneant it was sounding more and more like a blatant prc ripoff. Not opposed to it, necessarily, tho. Funky
