Hi, here is me wondering about SD again.
As Hide in Plain Sight (HiPS) is useless against monsters that have True Seeing (which is the case of high-level monsters), and you can't strip out True Seeing from gears because of the gaming server style doesn't permit, I'm still looking some way to make that awesome ability get working.
HiPS could be changed to work like this: 1. on activate the ability, it could immediately cast some kind of Sanctuary for about 1 round or whatever; 2. once that ability is used, it could be used again only after 1 or 2 rounds, to avoid constantly using that.
If you prefer, you can enable this new HiPS only after some lvls of SD, and even the reset timer could be reduced according the higher SD lvl the character has (and/or raise the Santuary duration, also).
What do you think about? hm? hm? :^P

O, ok. Thought that was talking about something like Ethereal Visage spell. So, that is awesome already. But, buffing the HiPS wouldn't a different concept?

Not entirely, but it would detract from the additions used to benefit the people who focused in Shadowdancer, and would most likely favor SD splashers. And if a level restraint were to be put on it, that would just make it redundant with the changes already made to Shadow Evade.
