I prefer to look at the issue as having more options to use varied staffs as opposed to taking the view of being limited to buffing all my weapons. Good point. Wanted to have my cake and eat it, I guess. ;D

Funky: Thanks for the speedy response. Idea number 2; On meeting the requirements for an added damage type, you gain a new item; one for each damage type. "Way of the Staff - Fire", "Way of the Staff - Cold" etc. Using "Way of the Staff - Cold" changes damage added to staff to cold damage, etc etc. This adds a few more items to your inventory, but I think it would be absolutely worth it, and in keeping with the speed with which a normal mage can adapt their tactics to suit their situation. What do you think? Thanks again. Any thoughts on this idea Funky? Too much time and effort involved? Would make a world of difference to playing a staffmaster in my opinion, if you could (and wanted to) find the time for it. Thanks.

Any thoughts on this idea Funky? Players have already suggested feasible workarounds to the difficulty you are complaining of. Not happening. Funky
