Assuming this is somehow possible, is there anyway you could consider increasing the respawn rate in the Lair of the Guardians? It seems a common complaint these days* that there is no suitable alternative to leveling in Raz's once you hit the upper 20's. Raz, Raz, Raz - till you're as brain dead as he is.
I've heard some people are designing new levels to provide an alternative for players in the level 30 region, but if you just increased the respawn rate in the Lair (which would allow farming) you could create a decent alternative right there.
Please, save us from Raz!
* - Second funniest thing I've ever seen uttered on your servers - "Lvl 30 lfg - and there is no way in hell I'm going back to Razhids!"

lvl 30+ areas have been conjured. . .
as for Lair, I always alt between that and Zhents. Seems to work well. . . for the most part.

Tried the tower on the East road? Mind you it has distinct similarities to a certain area filled with pseudo undead.

It would be nice to see some more guardians / more frequent respawns in the Lair of the Guardians - poor Glith doesn't stand a chance which such a small number of bodyguards

What was the first funniest? Ya left me hangin. I was on one night cleaning up my characters, server was almost empty, nothing was going on, I walk into the bank and come upon Brena and Miles at the entrance. To this day I don't know what they were talking about, a part of me doesn't really want to know, but all of a sudden just when I'm walking by Miles proudly declares, "Yes, Brena, you're right, I'm a perv! I'm a super perv and that's a bannable offense, please ban me!"

As far as viable areas go for the 30's range there are only 4 on the Level List
Lair Of bloodpool Guardians Yaun-ti and Bone Horde
and these are 30-35
The Guardians are the only decent ones to deal with though

Thats simply not true, Castle Gaobin is one of the best under-immo areas on the server, yet no one goes there, which still boggles my mind.

Or the fact that the enemies are tough to kill+don't offer enough xp for the effort (IMO), and aren't all classed as undead (meaning that it's much harder to tailor specific spells/strategies for killing them quickly with spells like undeath to death etc., which can be done quite easily with the guardians just with wail). Having said that, you can get a very nice item there, so I'd definately recommend it to newer people who have yet to do an immo run/get alot of the loot from an immo run. Oh and the area outside the castle is a nightmare as well unless you have IGMS immy/magic resist - can remember having my first couple of (admitedly fairly poor) immos meet their deaths exploring that section! While I'd probably favour a slight decreasing in the guardian's respawn time, it's not like lev30-35 is the only section that suffers from powerleveling problems. Afterall the powerleveling route is effectively water ring->arctic->strange tower[quick trip to lev ring before lev15]->farm/temple->razh, and then straight on to xul->lloth->immo->desert->desert->desert->desert...ok you get the picture . There are plenty of other areas, but they're not quite so good for xp as these ones. It's also worth noting the loot in the guardians is better than that at razh's, and if you can tackle prissy then you can get some very decent loot.

I love it when people complain that an area isnt fit for people to go to because its hard. Myself personally, i'd rather have a challenge. Oh they arent classes as undead, oh they're hard to kill, oh the slimes eat my weapon. Those sound a lot like excuses. And the xp there is actually quite nice, quite nice indeed. There is definitely also more then one good item there to be had.

I agree with Arch, and what are there, 4 slimes? Every toon should carry some kind of missile weapon, if just for slimes and breaking stuff. Ever get to the Zhedi's orb and 4 out of 5 tanks in your group don't even have a missile weapon. Gaobin also has a neat story that goes with it too, unlike raz and guardians, which are slay monsters, slay boss, repeat, though I am biased as a fan of vampire movies.

I'm not saying its not fit for people to go in because it's hard, I'm just saying if your aim is to gain xp the fastest possible way then I think that there are better areas out there (as because of it's difficulty it means that you aren't going to be killing things as quickly as in other places like razh, and therefore not gaining xp as quickly as you could be). I've always been an advocate for exploring alternative areas to the standard power-leveling ones though. Ultimately it's down to what you want though - if you want very quick xp and don't care about useless or no loot, then do the power-leveling areas like razh. If you want a bit of loot but still want to gain xp fast, do the guardians (although you may have to tie in somewhere else with this due to the respawn time). If you don't mind slower xp, but a more immersive experience with better loot, then do the castle, or if the setting doesn't appeal with you, just go and kill some zhents instead, or explore one of the lesser visited areas such as the bone horde.

Well if your goal is to gain xp as fast as possible don't complain that you're stuck in the same areas every time you level a toon. The point is there are many places you can gain adequate xp at levels 25-33 without spending the entire time in Razhids. Now as for prying the rest of your group out of raz's, I feel your pain, cause I dislike the repetitiveness too, and I agree it is tough to get people to go to those other areas. However I feel that the xp is fairly close if you keep moving. It is a pain to be in zhents or the web (or anywhere) and when you invite people they immediately start with the "lets go to razhids"
