Actually i'm running into undead that are immune to the spell mass heal and heal. Also scrolls can be maximized craft a firebrand scroll regular and cast it from the scroll and you get random results as expected. scribe a firebrand scroll with a maximized firebrand and you get max damage ffrom each arrow AND it will mix in with other firebrands and grant them the same effect. Its odd i know but i have done it before and it does indeed happen. it might only work for firebrand who knows.

Actually i took levels in rogue not sorc and i took umd as part of an elaborate plan that allows me to use the most powerful items from each class. oh and for tumble, disable device(useless in most cases now), and open lock. Evasion has proved useful as well.

See this is what i'm looking for Feedback. Something more than your whining and why don't you do something about it.
Look i'm not looking for a cake walk, i'm looking for balance. Groups currently w/o tier one player die often and hard.

every player has thier own unique set of abilites and tactics.
As you said
No one character, can do it all. No one character, can have every ability that you'd like. And NO CHARACTER, should have rediculously high AB's. There are PLENTY of ways to increase AB, and damage done, in game. Endless weapon buffs, potions, scrolls, items, YOU NAME IT.
Precisely However as i stated earlier what you state above is true and the same goes for monsters.
The entire begining post was a suggestion with detailed breakdowns of the Tiers and how an emphasis on physical damage affects each Tier.
Trust me i don't want to be in charge then i'd have to put up with people like me.
Of course i'd also make sure that there would always be room for people to utilize thier abilities.
Here Suggestion time where i repeat some previously stated suggestions.
1.) playtest areas with partys that don't have a tier one class and see how they do
2.) instead of making creature immune to certain things, increase thier save so that they can save 80-90 % of the time that would allow them relative immunity but still allow players to enjoy thier special abilities.
3.)Make sure that monsters ac's follow the attack progression of the players so that they at least can hit them 10-20% of the time.
3.B) make sure that classes without a full attack can hit w.o a natural 20.
4.) advance hitdie not give bonus's to base attack. That makes the monster harder all around and provides a more potent creature with better rewards(i.e. exp)
5.)Don't sell Scrolls with caster level higher than 5th level. If a player really need a mass heal he can buy it from a player. or place a vendor that only buys scrolls from players and holds them so that players who cant scribe scrolls can buy them. Prehaps give a partial bonus say 50% of the xp used to make the scroll back to whoever sells it to the vendor to encourage this.
6.) Allow disarm to function properly if i take a scythe to a bandit and knock his weapon away i want to see(and preferably a bit of his hand) if you disallow disarm for fear of players getting too powerful weapons then the monsters have too powerful weapons.
And rip regardless of the length of a post or response to said post as a board user it is only mature and responsible to read the entire argument/post before commenting on it. I didn't have time to make that post in one sitting i don't expect people to read it in one sitting people have things to do. That said it is rather Irresponsible to respond to a post without finding out what its all about. (see your post on tier 1s posted at 2:12)
I never said i wanted to own up on anything that is a false interpretation of my words. I do however feel that everything should not own up on a character simply because they are not melee focused.
Oh and about items I have arguably the most expensive and powerful set of items in the game that i worked my tail off to get. The only thing new that was worth using was switching out my swashbuklers garb for prismatic dragon armor and my star amulet for an amulet of natural armor +10.
There now i have isolated the Suggestions from the "whiney" bit so that you may save some time and get right to refuting them because i am obviously not worth listening to.
actually Rastan you can get into a war with spectres where they steal your item and you steal it back =-).
