Thanks! I added the Memnoch's description. The Eagle's Crest description didn't make much sense, because the helm doesn't add to wisdom, or even intelligence, so I left it out. Funky

Mordant Wit +# (cloak) Several of these cloaks were made by a wizard called Sureves Epans, a master of the arcane arts at a nearby school of wizardry, to be given to graduating students. He was much despised by his students because of the biting, sarcastic remarks he would make at when one failed. Thus, these cloaks gained their nickname.
(change wizard's name if it's too out of character, it's Severus Snape backwards)
Bracers of Intellect As you examine these bracers more closely, you notice the faint scratchings in the metal that seem to answers to an exam...

Hehe, okay, I didn't mean to model the wizard after Snape but it just popped into mind cause I couldn't think of a name.
Mordant Wit +# (cloak) Several of these cloaks were made by a wizard called Yewen, a master of the arcane arts. Typically, he often locked himself away for long periods of time in his tower, leaving only to acquire more reagents for his experiments. He employed several apprentices over his lifetime, each of which he would give one of these cloaks so they could aid him in his tests. As famous for his absent-mindedness as for his biting, sarcastic remarks, his apprentices often took advantage of him and pretended they had yet to recieve one of these cloaks. Each apprentice eventually got fed up with the poor working conditions and left, taking with them their many cloaks, selling them when ever they were short on gold.
Ubiquitous Discernment (belt) A number of these belts were crafted for a now forgotten enclave of wizards. When internal feuding threatened to break up the group, the most unreasonable wizards were sent out on a world-wide scavenger hunt, to bring back the greatest and rarest treasures they could find. The one who brought back the most valuable loot would have the honor of revising the laws of the guild.
The only one to return was Fargle Dirtap, a clumsy gnome that found a shiny rock outside of his door. Four months later, the enclave was all but non-existent.

Elemental Crown (UR Helm)You hold in your hands what appears to be a very old and highly magical crown. Upon further investigation, you discover it belonged to an ancient, highly charismatic king, who's name has been lost to the sands of time. From what you are able to learn, the king was rather prone to assassination attempts, hence, the creation of this crown. Flashfoot (UR Boots)These boots have intricate runes scribed over every inch of them. On deciphering the runes, you learn that they where forged by a master smith in the elemental plane of electricity. Coalwalker (UR Boots)These boots have intricate runes scribed over every inch of them. On deciphering the runes, you learn that they where forged by a master smith in the elemental plane of fire. Cold Feet (UR Boots)These boots have intricate runes scribed over every inch of them. On deciphering the runes, you learn that they where forged by a master smith in the elemental plane of ice. Searing Tongue (UR Boots)These boots have intricate runes scribed over every inch of them. On deciphering the runes, you learn that they where forged by a master smith in the elemental plane of acid. Boots of the Bastion (UR Boots)These boots once belonged to a noble elf in charge of defending a once great city. For centuries he organized the town's militia, but not even an elf can hope to outlive the wrath of the gods. Eventually he died and the city fell, and the boots where said to have been lost in the chaos. Greater Ring of Water Breathing(Rare ring)This ring is definitely one of the oddest things you have encountered in you stay at Ascension. At a quick glance, it appears to be a bluish-green ring covered in an odd mucus. On closer examination however, you notice that it is, in fact, breathing. Whatever this thing is, it is truly a great find. Lich-King's Phylactery (UR Ammy)Hanging from the icy-cold chain is a rather odd thing. It is strikingly clear, but from what you can tell, it isn't glass. Flowing inside is a red whisp of something that is neither gas nor liquid. From all sensible points, it appears to be a phylactery containing the soul of a mage who's body has long since been lost. Crackleshard's Fang (Rare ring)Lying in your palm is a strangely beautiful ring. It appears to be made of a blue bone-like material. Adorning it is the tip of what you assume was a large tooth, probably from a large dragon slain ages ago. Blazebolt's Eye (Rare ring)This ring appears to be a more recent creation, made of a reddish metal-like material. Set in it's center is a strikingly bright gem. While gazing at it you get the feeling that it is looking back at you. cheers ~grudge

Loki's Torment (UR Cloak) Legend has it that Loki himself handed these cloaks down to his most trusted subjects. How they proved themselves for such an honor? Well, that's something you'd rather not think about...
Orudin's Eye (UR Small Shield) Details surrounding this shield are extremely vague. The only thing specificly recorded is that it was made by a mage long ago for a small town militia to pretect them from invaders.

Fervent Faith (Rare Ring) Upon wearing this ring, you get an incredibly warm feeling, like the eyes of the gods are looking down and and watching over you.

Orb of Osiris (UR Large Shield) Engraved on the surface of this shield are pictures of an epic battle in which, Osiris himself, came up from the underhells to harvest mortal souls to recieve their judgement. Whether or not this is true, this sheild by far surpasses any smith-work you have ever seen.
Unitary Focus (UR Helm) Legend has it, that this helm has been handed down from master to student by monks for ages. The very aura about this helm gives you an overwhelming sence of balance and justice. When you put the helmet on, it involentarily fits itself to your head, creating a perfect fit and fills you with an odd inner peace.

Arctic Enclosure (UR Cloak)Wrapped in a icy mist, this silky cloak feels cool to the touch, but upon wearing it, you forget all feeling of any cold and are left with an inner warmth. As you reluctantly peel the cloak off yourself, you are overstricken with coldness and can't help but fall to the ground shivering. Quaternary Union (UR Ring)Set in this ring are four stones of different colours. Each of them pulse with unspent energy as you run your finger over their smooth surfaces. Tempus' Left (Rare Tower Shield)Despite your nearly obsessive searching, you fail to discover who the heck Tempus is. Although, judging by the apostrophe coming after the S, you assume that he was somebody very important none the less. In any case, this is an incredible find and will serve it's time well on YOUR left arm. cheers ~grudge

Maybe Tempus is some shield guardian =)
Add to the Quat Union: The stones are arranged unevenly, leaving some open space. You wonder if you could cram a fifth stone onto the ring....
