I have heard of several things that may affect the likelyhood of rare/UR loot dropping. Can anyone confirm any of these? It is hard to test, as things are so random. More party members=better loot: Pretty sure this has been confirmed by DMs Popping loot before finishing off the current spawn: Apparently this lowers loot chances, possibly to discourage battle-looting ? Massing a whole map to kill before looting anyting: Again, have heard this lowers loot chances, possibly to try to discourage lag-causing massing of maps ? Server reset: "Clean" runs (1st since reset) have better loot than respawned runs ? The more times you loot an area and let it respawn, the worse the loot will be ? Level of person popping the loot: higher level toon = better loot ? If this applies, does it apply over lvl 40? Feats of toon popping loot: I know there are a few low-lvl drops that give you a loot depending on your feats. Near beetle cave is one. Are there others? Are they in LL areas? Is it possible to answer any of these without spoilers?

Most of your questions can be answered in the first post of this thread. highergroundpoa.proboards3.com/index.cgi?board=information&action=display&n=1&thread=6760Another thing I know is that if you run run thru the desert and open loots without killing stuff you won't get any UR's. You can pop loots while spawns are alive, the best method is to pop loot as you are progressing thru the map, killing stuff as you go. If you wait till everything on map is dead to pop loots, you have a lower chance of getting an UR. As far as I know this is only in the desert, though im not sure of that.

Loot as you go is the safest method, though in 90%+ of maps it makes no difference. No.No. No.Yes. Funky

Whats the possibility of player created content being accepted into the mod? Or, if not, then how about some way to suggest items to be created by staff? My main reason for asking is that my AA is awfully lacking in a good belt and better robes for a dexer. Something with a medium ranged bludgeoning, piercing, slashing, magical immunity. I hate the fact that my AA is a Resurection sucker

We take player suggestions for loot everywhere, though the best place for them currently is probably the Thoughts and Ideas threads. They currently also wind up in the Worst Items thread, and elsewhere. I'll make a thread here for suggestions. Funky
