I'm thinking you probably know who I am... so I will skip the introductions and get strait to the point. I came here to thank you for all of you hard work adding to my mod. It's good to see people taking the original mod/concept and pushing it to ever more creative places. I wish you the best success.. and hopefully only half of the headaches PS: Please leave the start message script that gives credit for the original mod intact... other than that, tear it up and plant new creative stuff!

I'm honored by your kind words, and best wish's, Trespasser.
We love your MOD, and are just working to take it to new levels. We felt that servers, like DOOM, were taking it in the wrong direction (adding a Mall that has an individual vendor for each item type is not a good idea, when your server is laggy!). We aim to minimize lag during gameplay by stripping out certain spells and effects, while tweaking and adding to the existing content.
I would be very happy to take you on a tour of our server one day, just so you can see all the changes, and the countless new additions we have made. I'm sure you wouldn't recognize it!

I was searching through all of the PoA mods out there and found Higher Ground in the list. I liked the idea of using the CEP and it's Epic PoA so I added it to my favorites list. I checked the server details, got your web addy and what do I find? This is the same site Tres has already been too. lol You'll be seeing me on your server. I can't wait to see what you have done with PoA. ;D

Oddly enough, once that happens, we start seeing things we did, pop up elsewhere! I'm just saying, be creative people (this post is not towards you Luna, AW rocks the house!). This is actually more directed towards our competitor, DOOM. I greatly look forward to having you around on our server for a bit! Cheers! ;D ;D ;D

Hmmm, it is a full on AW assault! Why the sudden peek in interest, fellas? We have been online for over 6 months now, and now that we are on the NWVault you start showing up like wildfire? I hope your intentions are pure. And whats wrong with being a member on the bulletin board?

As an AW board troll I can tell you that Morningwood has discontinued his work on EPoA and our fellow addicts are in need of their PoA fix. While not nearly as polished as EPoA had been, I hope you find our changes refreshing while still giving you the PoA that you so richly desire. This module is in no way complete! My own projects for Higher Ground will easily extend into October/November before seeing completion, not to mention the contributions of 3 other Builders and imports from our own players. It seems from the board that Morningwood put his heart and soul into developing EPoA, perhaps giving too much of himself in the process. Developing a fair and balanced game that fully extends the original intent of PoA while allowing Epic levels is a near impossible task, one that Morningwood took to new levels. We can only hope to do the same with our server. Which is why we depend on you all so greatly; you all, the players. We leave it up to you to tell us where the server is lacking, and where it is surplus. By taking the full burden off of the shoulders of the developers and asking the players themselves to carry it, the server cannot fall if the weight crushes one person. I believe that that is what happened to EPoA and we shall learn from this and honor their efforts by doing so.

I guess you'll have to blame me for the AW assault team coming here, lol. I posted your website link in the private section of the AW forums, wildfire started as you can imagine and after that your url was posted in the public forums. Hopefully this will give you a strong player base and possibly someone out there will have some contributions for you. I don't want you to worry about any of us coming to *borrow* ideas from you. Tres is currently working on Stone Deep (which will be forever in the making at the rate he is going) and BigDawg and Crane have Winds that they are working on. They have their own ideas on how they want their modules to be created. Yes, MW has shut down the EPoA server. I won't comment any further than that. Everyone has their own opinions on that matter and we'll just leave it at that. See you out there on Higher Ground and I'll make sure to get your website link out there to as many places as I can.

If you build it, they will come. If you dl it and modify it and host it, they will come faster.

No no, I'm not worried about you taking our ideas, that would be backwards, wouldn't it? lol
Anyways, THANKS for your support AW, I am truly humbled by your kind words, and helping hand in trying to advertise our server.
Let me know if I can do anything for you all.

Sure thing on the input. I'm going to round up some peeps to come check out the server and play for a bit. I have already made a cleric and was playing for a bit this morning. I didn't want to go to the second level of the cellar alone. Looked scary, lol. I haven't seen too much yet as I am only level 2 and played for a very short time but from what I seen so far, I like very much. ;D
