Kneverwynter,
Just spell focus and great spell focus. On the Feats sheet, rows 448-455 and 281-288, columns FR and FS. I think they should be changed from '1','-1' to '0','-1' similar to cleric and druid, though I admit to not being competent with the spreadsheet internals. This makes my previous build show up as invalid (which it was in game) and the new one work (which is does in game).

Hey! Wow saved me a lot of time, I actually just approach Kamiryn a few days ago about this. I was wondering what sort of undertaking this may be.
His Reply:
So thanks to both of you! One for porting CBC to HG and 2 for CBC in the 1st place!
It sounds like he would be more than happier to help and give pointers if you haven't contacted him already.

Races that start with bonuses to stats should be able to go beyond the 18 range for points you can put into the build correct?
For instance +2 dex should make you able to raise the base stat of dex at character creation to 20 and then whatever additional bonuses for the sub-race should come through. Rather than +2 dex for starting and only being allowed to place stat as 18 at highest. Is that right?

Do favored races carry over at character build for a sub-race?
Say Badlander Halfling. Is Rogue still it's favored class?

Races that start with bonuses to stats should be able to go beyond the 18 range for points you can put into the build correct? For instance +2 dex should make you able to raise the base stat of dex at character creation to 20 and then whatever additional bonuses for the sub-race should come through. Rather than +2 dex for starting and only being allowed to place stat as 18 at highest. Is that right? Modifications to stats are done AFTER you spend your 30 points. For example, Gold Dwarf gets -2 dex and +1 con, stacked with the dwarf's normal +2 con, -2 cha, which gives you -2 dex, +3 con, and -2 cha. The CBC is build so that you first choose your base stats (from 8 to 18, using the point-buy system), after which it will then factor in your ability bonuses/antibonuses. This shouldn't cause any problems, except when it comes to Int, because it affects your skill points. In the CBC, if you get a subrace bonus to intelligence of 2 or 4, you will get the extra 4 or 8 skill points at first level, but only in CBC. In HG, the subrace bonuses are added only after you log off and log back on again, so you don't skill points for those. (I might quite possibly be wrong, correct me if I am.) Bonuses to skills are also added after character creation, which means you CAN have over 4 skill points in one skill at level one, but I don't think CBC can be changed (without adding more internals and complicated things) to support that, so you'll be stuck with Invalids, though the calculations will still work (but you'll have an extra few skill points). Also, do saved skill points at level 40 carry over to LLs? Or do they just go *poof!*?

Do favored races carry over at character build for a sub-race? Say Badlander Halfling. Is Rogue still it's favored class? Yes. Subraces do not affect favored class at all, which was a factor in making so many of them human. Funky

Ok with CBC, no matter what race, you cannot go higher than 18 points in an ability at start from what I've found. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks Funky for the information on favored races etc.
With this community I'm sure we can all get the CBC ported properly to HG... just have to keep at it!

1) Alright fixing the spell focus and gret spell focus. 2) Finally found the problem that makes DD illegal on dwarven subs and am fixing that and on the AA's too. 3) Adding a changes sheet to CBC so all can list their changes, for everyone to be able to check if they are up to date.

UUPPDDAATTEE UUPPDDAATTEE Please pik first sheet go to end of sheets, hold shift then pik last sheet, all sheets should be highlited, then pik tools at top, pik protection, protect sheets. ( I forgot too I was so excited to get it done) UUPPDDAATTEE This is a excel sheet that is the same as CBC280 except, all subraces are added so you can plan a build up to Lvl 40 in the Subrace and classes of your choice, also has the original documentation on how to modify the sheet. (Future plan to add LL's but there are 100's of subsheets to go through to make sure it works properly.) If you want to start another build just pick drop downs and hit delete ( You can highlight all levels down left side and hit delete.) Heres the link www.box.net/public/966jxq97ydHope this helps everyone. My changes made given the below issue(s): www.box.net/public/ecdspdhc15Error Was: If you empty out the data contents (fresh template) with all 8's for ability scores, no class, no race, nothing.... go to the Progression chart and see level 30 bottoming out. AC Rating ACCalculation: Row 35, Column V = missing formula =MAX(IF(S35>0,MAX(MIN(J35,4)+3,MIN(J35,6)+2,MIN(J35,8)+1),0),IF(T35>0,MAX(MIN(J35,2)+5,MIN(J35,4)+4),0),IF(U35>0,MIN(J35,1)+8,0),J35)
Challenge Rating InternCRCalculation Error: Row 35, Column Racial Modifier = current formula in error is: =IF(V$33=1,IF(INDEX($AW$1:$AW$27,V$29)<>"",IF(ISNA(MATCH(Character!$AP$2,OFFSET($AW$1:$AY1,V$29-1,0,1,4),0)),$C$35,1),0),0)
I made my correction in this cell to be like the others: =U35*V$5
Hope this helps. Edit: Updated language to reflect fixes.
