in the above post I mean the DD phys immunity bonus, not conceal. My fault, must have shadowdancer on the brain.

Physical immunity from Str bonus is not capped, but the DD natural AC bonus is capped at +20 from Str bonus.
Therefore, a strength of 70 will provide 30% physical immunity.

Just traded for battlerager today (costly, but more than worth it), and I plan to follow this build, for the most part.
My only problem with it is the three feats taken up by Epic Damage Reduction. It just seems that there are better feats that can be taken in exchange for a paltry dr 9/-. Since the DD will be taking very little to no physical damage anyways, I would either focus early on more Great Strength, or increase his HP and fort by means of Great Con, or further increase saves with the epic saves feats.
Also, are there DB / lvl 35 rare dwarven Greataxes? Singe is good, as it has three exotic damages, but I'd like to know if there are other good alternatives too.

There is a level 35 rare and a DB version of each weapon, including Dwarven Waraxe.

Yep, thats the rare weapons Bakchunda mentioned, and when you get DB tag, you can use Av's avenger which is the best one (pre hells).

Chakka Shok is a batleaxe, not a dwarven axe.

Yiazmat, I'm not sure how much the Epic Damage Reduction III helps. As you pointed out, there is a ton of Damage Reduction inherent in the build already. You may be able to drop them with little-no impact. As I said before, I pretty much ignore all physical damage and only need to worry about elemental damage with this build. So it's entirely possible that you don't even need the three EDR feats but I haven't tried it without them yet to see... ? But you would be surprised how fast even 9 damage a hit can ruin your day lol. By all means, try it without the EDRs and let us know what you find! Jenna

I'm currently leveling a battlerager subby with this build as a guide and I have to say that after doing an AA, a cheese sorc, and a SD, it is amazing just how fun it is to tank by virtue of my innate tankitude (vs evade, dodge, conceal, etc.). I need some input though regarding the epic damage feats. I was wondering also if they are really that necessary. I would agree that 9 damage can add up quickly, but instead of epic damage resistance, though, would it be good to take 3 epic energy resistance feats? That'll give 10 resistance per element per feat. You could use them on three different elements or all on one. Either way, you would be getting resistance to more damage than the epic damage reduction feats (depending on the type of damage taken, of course). Also, this reduction will stack with reductions from items.

Having played quite a few builds to Immo/40's and now a couple into the 50's, I can endorse the idea of the EDR feats over the EER feats. The main argument being how easy it is to get rings/items to give you 100% immunity to elemental damages, yet how difficult it is to get the same level of physical damage reduction w/o the EDR feats.

Also I'm not entirely sure the EER feats stack with item granted elemental resists....don't have any documentation with me here so I can't check. But as kaldair pointed out, you will find they aren't worth the feat expenditure.

If we can trust the NWNWiki, it states "Epic Energy Resistance supercedes Resist Energy; they do not stack. This feat does stack with items that provide energy resistance. (i.e. 10/- fire resist) "
I am considering the EER feats on a build I'm designing for the Pyramid, but I will also have the EDR feats as well. Dropping all offensive feats to make a pure defensive, elemental immune build. We'll see ...

I made a DD build using the battlerager subrace, arriving at roughly the same conclusion as you - good for me - I moved out the 7th wm level to 21, going 6/6/8 F/WM/DD then 1/19 WM/DD epic because I believe that this would increase fort save by one, losing me nothing. 6 *and* 7 class levels give 2/5 saves (high/low) while 8 gives 2/6, according to nwnwiki. Taking 7 levels of a class instead of 6 gains you no save, while taking 8 instead of 7 does. So I went 6/6/8 instead of 6/7/7. 1 fort save isn't the world, but, hey, it's free EDIT I noticed DDs get primary saving throws ("high saves") fortitude *and will*, so you in fact gain a fort and a will by going 6/6/8 instead of 6/7/7 pre-epic. At the cost of nothing really. Maybe it really *is* the world, after all. EDIT END - Using battlerager is somewhat of a waste when used with weaponmaster since you need to invest in DEX (no bonus) and INT (-2!), and forfeit the possibility to do a DD without the need to take the dodge feat. I think I'm a 7 lvl WM junkie, I need to get rid of that some time Using battlerager gave me some feats I could play around with, and I'll invest in the new LL save feats of course. Regards!

Hello All,
I'm new to the forums, so please bear with me.
Considering that at lvl 51 this build has only achieved 102AC, this would be making the need for AC obsolete becuase with that much AC you would get hit everytime in the desert, I have a char with 120AC with epic dodge and 50% conceal and still get hit often.
So what I'm really asking is that considering AC means nothing for this build, only immunities, is it possible to use a two handed weapons like a double axe instead of a shield. I'm asking this because I'm bored of always using a shield and with certain two handed weapons you also get 2 extra attacks per round.
