Red handed thief (29 rogue/1 bard/ 10 RDD)

I pulled Atomie out of desert, and absolutely did not want to make another halfling death, although this would have been the optimal race for it. Looking for a class to splash rogue with substantial levels, I came up with rogue/RDD. Please comment/pull apart/hit me with a clue bat

Here it goes:

A rogue with good defenses and high saving throws, at the cost of offensive capabilities. Should be able to open any lock/disarm any trap. Will use a sling for ranged fighting while wearing a shield at the same time.

"Atomie" (secret UltraRare subrace) - requires Halfling (adds wings)
DEX +3, WIS -2, INT +2, CHA +2, +5 pick pocket, increased base movement rate - very fast, able to walk on quicksand, speaks Animal, speaks Sylvan

Using other races shouldn't be a problem, but you might wanna take only lore 8 if you're low on intelligence. Test before levelling

I experimented with a dex version of an RDD and it just seemed counterproductive... have you tried it yet, and if so how is it working?
