I might build one.. Re. the discipline issue, could you take swap a rogue level with a bard level (putting the bard level last) to max out discipline? You might not want to, and this might screw up your feats, but I thought I'd throw the idea out there just in case it would work.

Good question. I spent a couple hours debating whether or not to put a bard at the end of the build. If you swap rogue for bard pre 20 you will lose saves and ab and one bonus rogue feat at 24 levs of rogue. If you swap bard for rogue near the end of build youll lose a bonus rogue feat also for lev 24 rogue. You could take 2 less pm near the end of the build and only lose 2 to ac and 6 hit points, while increasing skill points by 8 + the 5 extra points you spent for cross-class skill = 13. Add another rogue and bard etc at the end and you will increase your disc by 22 and also give you an extra d6 sneak. I should clarify that i was referring to max possible discipline for whatever madness could be in hells. For example 127 disc for max. The discipline wont be problem at all for hg as we know it now, especially with the gear thats out there. It was a very tough call to me but ultimately I didn't want 22 more points to disc and 1d6 sneak more than I needed the extra feat or ac, though i'm not psychic and the extra disc gained could be a great decision and might make the difference in Hells so it's really up to you. If you did take the extra bard and rogue level and two less pm, you can get disc to 110 with epic skill focus disc and skill focus disc if it comes down to a make or break skill. I figured that unless you are getting hit disc wont be the biggest prob you'll have, save gravitors, and there is gear out there for those fun loving squid.
Oh yeah almost forgot, there has been some talk recently indicating that epic skill focus search and disable trap isnt really needed to open all the locks (search, and disable traps being the main focus) in the game. And that is true for hg as we know it now, and it might be an indicator of things to come, though i didn't want to make another rogue in the future just in case the max skill needed later on was 159 and I was off by a couple points. So I just bit the bullet and took those feats to make sure I would only need one rogue for all locks in game as the engine allows as i understand it anyway. Miles

Cool, fair enough. I would definately take the skill focuses to max out rogue skills - would improve my skills in earlier levels and help fill gaps in my rogue equipment
