This build can devastate enemies - via powerful evocation spells - and significantly boost a party's offense and defense - via the use of custom higher ground epic spells, buff spells (most of which can be applied to yourself AND your party) and healing spells, which will often keep you and your party standing in sticky situations.
This character should be equipped with Heavy Armor and a Tower Shield for maximum AC in most situations, unless specific immunities are required for an area that are only available on other gear (such as Medium Armor or Large Shields).
This build uses a 'splash' (1 level) of Paladin. The Paladin level gives the feat: Divine Grace, which means that your Charisma modifier (if positive) is added to your saving throws. Equipment with +Charisma and/or the spell Eagle's Splendor is necessary to take full advantage of this feat with this build (up to +5 to all saves with Charisma boosted to 20 by spells/items).
