Unless I am missing something... A 12 int Human Cleric only gets 4 skill points per level 1 for being Human 2 for being a Cleric 1 for 12 Intelligence What am I missing? Which is an issue for my cleric when I reincarnate her Sorry my mistake, confused with his int 14. No spare point for parry then, not a biggie. Some more suggestions on your build Mortis... Since you are going pure, which means no monk ac bonus, you will have to wear full plate and tower shield if you want AC. Your ac in full plate/shield will be a tad bit higher than 120 which is still pretty low IMO. I'd ditch AC completely and rely on gate to survive. If you really want ac you should go splash instead, being pure mean something has to be given up. Wear robe + torch/flag no slagging, so do not need disc. There you save 4 feats could be used for 2 more wis or another epic.

The base 14 dexterity with the modifier increase from +12 dexterity gear will make his final AC will be slightly higher than plate could net and his skill penalty will not be as harsh. Cheers, ~Mort

Props to my brother Mortis! I have to say I have played this build to 60 and it's pretty nice. I do quite well compared to clerics I've seen. I wish I had known about LSA discipline and I would have saved all the cross classed points I had invested until later and gained quite a bit. All in all it's a great toon and with a good party it makes a fine addition! WOOT

What a very strange build. As originally written, its still got 66 base spell pen - equal to a standard cheese cleric - but better disc/tumble, and higher caster level. Worse saves though, I bet. The main thing that bothers me is that, unless my math is horribly wrong, you have three epics, not four. And no leg div. Personally, I like the LSF Div enhanced gate. And my +14 to all saves. And with robe/torch, disc is less necessary - as in the 43 base + Str mod is fine. And four epics...girding/iof/miracle/conversion. But for alterations, I'd advise against dropping 2 wis. Implode DC is best as high as possible, and its the only real offense you have. That 1 point can come back to haunt. But if you like yours, go you

I concur with Delfestra's quick analysis.
Also the build doesnt have greater ruin which is firepower needed to deal with pesky critters that implosion doesnt seem to kill consistently... aka Amnizu, Narzugons etc.
I guess it can argued that in the LL areas you wont see critters like those I describe above and that would be right but I personally make an assumption that any build posted is for one of two reasons.... it is demi worthy or needs feedback to be demi worthy.

I didn't see a method to squeeze 4 epics into this build without taking a hit somewhere else. The saves are decent (57/58/75) and the AC sits at the low 120's with medium armor which I usually only wear for the implosion immunities where needed. My toon has the Legendary Divination focus. Without sounding offensive, how would you suggest picking up another epic and not loosing 2 wisdom? I would like to keep it as sturdy as possible while maintaining functionality. As it sits now he has 64 wisdom without an artifact. XD

You can try this build but it uses Half-Celestial which you may not have access to. highergroundpoa.proboards3.com/index.cgi?board=builds&action=display&thread=7049Back when Mish first posted this build, he was working with me to tweak my cleric build. Before I reincarnated recently the only difference between the two builds was that I took Toughness and he took Empower spell. With my reincarnation, I left out toughness and took Epic spell Greater Ruin and had to adjust the skill points. I must admit prior to getting demi god, the build was a bit squishy probably due to my play and getting flat footed when casting. After demi god, I was able to secure an Asmo rod which helped the survivability immensely because I wasnt getting critted anymore and had enough hitpoints with the gate spell to take a few hits and still get spells off. Right now I am happy with my cleric... and runs are now a question of target recognition and imploding the critters that are implodeable, greater ruin the ones that are left, then healing circle the tanks who will finish off the remaining one or two critters from the original spawn.
