I was directed to the Aura of Vitality spell on this forum because my tank randomized a ring that will cast it. I noticed that second line provides two formulae that give the same result. Either one of the formulae is wrong or the two together are redundant. - Niilo Aura of Vitality - Adds an additional +2 to Str, Con, and Dex per 5 CL above 20, to a maximum of +12 at CL40. - At CL20, grants 2 + ((CL - 20) / 5) Dodge AC. At CL40, grants 6 + ((CL - 40) / 5) Dodge AC, reaching +10 at CL60.

They are both correct, and are non-redundant - they pertain to different level ranges, per the text you quoted.

Funky Hmm, maybe I didn't explain correctly. 2+((CL-20)/5) == 6+((CL-40)/5) For any level. If you enjoy watching other people do math here is the arithmetic: 2-2+((CL-20)/5) = 6+((CL-40)/5)-2 ((CL-20)/5) = 4+((CL-40)/5) ((CL-20)/5)-((CL-40)/5) = 4+ ((CL-40)/5)-((CL-40)/5)((CL-20)/5)-((CL-40)/5) = 4 [((CL-20)/5)-((CL-40)/5)]*5 = 4*5 (CL-20)-(CL-40) = 20 CL-20- CL+40 = 20 -20+40 = 20 20 = 20 Or, by way of example, at level 60 the first formula will be: 2+((60-20)/5)=2+(40/5)=2+8=10 And the second will be: 6+((60-40)/5)=6+(20/5)=6+4=10 The two formula are equal. So you'd save space by simply saying, "At CL20, grants 2 + ((CL - 20) / 5) Dodge AC".

Ah, yes, I see what you're getting at. I've edited the doc in the next update.
Thanks, Funky

In the Blackguard spell menu at first level, one of the spell choices is "corrupt weapon", when selected it's shows up as "bless weapon" under spells memorized and on your radial menu.

Today in bank of styx i observed cornugon and vrock fighting each other in fact immeadiate after their spawn. My summon comes to them when one was near death and second badly wounded.
I had empowered summon: shadow and at location before this one i dominate quasit via eye of vecna arti. But he disaperead when i entered this location (dont know if this is important to notice).
edited: definitely problem with summon. My summon were fighting 2 monsters, i spawned third and those third were going directly and attack his teammates...

I'm not sure where the bug is here, let alone the documentation issue. A Cornugon is a devil, and a Vrock is a demon. You're witnessing a clash in the great Blood War between the two. Devils, demons, and celestials in hades are all hostile to each other. The Yugoloths may side with devils, demons, or no one, depending on chance. Funky

I believe this is an unavoidable side effect of the way we implemented that spell - so long as you're actually getting the corrupt weapon effect, that is. Funky

At dulvoroth, after miniboss fight: The message: "Illfanes touch tears through your body, wracking you with pain." Appears constantly each round after miniboss death. When i rest, this still continue. It has no effect on me. And even if it have, is it possible to turn off this message after the fight ? Its pretty annoying...

In what way is this a documentation issue? Please stop using this thread for bug reports.
I'll fix it though, thanks.
[Edit] Not a bug, and it's definitely affecting you. It's piling on slash vuln. Restoration will cure it.

The Camouflage spell is documented in-game as
"gaining a +7/+10/+14/+19/+25 competence bonus to any Hide checks"
but does not say which criterion (number of Illusion spell foci) determines which bonus you get.

The Quasiclass documentation for Herald of Storms seems to have disappeared from the Quasi thread here on the forums.

^ Also regarding Herald of Storms, none of the in-game spells have the Herald-specific description.

Subrace documentation on the forum is missing Thunderborn and Stoneblood entries, haven't checked in game.
