Q: What do I need to upgrade my subrace?A: For 'open to secret' upgrades you must have your account tagged for the new subrace AND you must have the item(s) you used in order to gain that secret subrace on your newly reincarnated character when first talking to the thingy. For 'secret to UR' and 'UR to BUR' upgrades you must have your account tagged for the new subrace AND you must have the subrace book on your newly reincarnated character when first talking to the thingy. Is the subrace item consumed when doing an upgrade?

Question.. Does Reincarnation "roll up"? In other words, today I have an RDD/fighter/bard. Tomorrow I reincarnate that into a bard CC with one level rdd and one level fighter. Three months later, I want to make it into a pure bard. Would this conflict with the first character, or does the reincarnation system "forget" those details?

After your one month/three month reincarnation cycle, those details are forgotten entirely. Any new reincarnations done will use the new character as a base. Acaos

I understand the skull being removed, but what's not mentioned (and I'm curious about ) is whether the Demi iterations are maintained. I assume they are, just want to be sure. tia ss

Might want to add in the FAQ that there is currently no way of ending your weeklong reincarnation period where you can still make character changes.
This became a problem for me when I reinced a character into a scroll scriber. You are not allowed to scribe scrolls in your reincarnation period.

One thing missing that is probably the most basic question (but i am asking to confirm anyway ), you mention the reincarnating up a tier or more, the need to keep the CC the same, but you don't mention lateral reincarnations. For example, i have an Erinyes ranger that I would like to reincarnate into a Wemic. I have a Wemic book to read, and to go within the same tier you do not need an additional book, correct? I can go from one BUR sub to another without needing an extra book, as long as I have read 1 and can access the subrace. Thanks!

That's correct, you only need to burn an extra book to go up one or more tiers.

In the case you had burnt a book and messed up your build still during the reincarnation week, do you need another book to fix that mess? or after burning one book your slot is "tagged" as upgraded?

The reincarnation slot for that specific character is "tagged" as upgraded to that race. You can delete and redo as many times as you want within your normal 1 week period with no issues.

One other point that might be worth adding is what the restrictions are for reincarnating using the same name. So if for example I have a toon named Argon and reincarnate him, how long do I have to wait before I can create another toon named Argon (spelled the exact same way)? Until the server resets? One full day - 24 hours? Etc. Thanks.

24 hours, and then a server must reset after that 24 hours has passed.
