The mod I'm adding SIM Tools to was released with Talus Listener already installed. And Talus Listener has some on-event scripts that I'm concerned will conflict with SIM Tools. So I'm wondering; should I remove Talus Listener before installing SIM Tools?
I figured I'd ask around here before continuing work in case someone else has run into this scenario before and has some good insights.
Any feedback / advice / links you could share will be very appreciated.

I don't know that they actually conflict, though I suspect, as you do, that they might. I do know that the method Talus uses is obsolete, so I would switch over to nwnx_chat regardless.

OK, thanks for the input. That kinda settles it for me. I'm going to play it safe and clean out the old Talus scripts / includes etc. first.
