Playername: - FaultyGolem Character Name: - Original: Faulty [SL] Adeptcolyte - New: Faulty [SL] Prelate Date / Time: - 2/16/09 mid-afternoon (as I recall)
Yesterday, I re-inc'd my Theurge to a cleric and got an unexpected message, to the effect of "Since you changed class combination and CC, you will not be able to regain LL experience/tags/etc. You may choose to regain your Xul, Lloth and MoaD tags if you had them."
I had forgotten that I'd changed the class combination (from Wiz/Cl/Monk to Cl/Monk/Bard) as I had originally planned the build one way, but changed it when I started leveling.
When I got the message above, my takeaway was that the re-inc would be allowed, but I would lose my immo/LL tags etc. In the past, I would have expected the message to read something like "You will not be able to use the character after your re-inc week is over." But I do not recall this being a part of the message.
I took my tags back, and attempted to join an immo run, but we got the message that I had not yet reclaimed my immo status and could not go.
Not sure if I just misread the message, or if the Immo run script needs to be correlated with an updated re-inc Thingy script.
One other thing, the old (original) character name was still showing on login as an available character, even after he had been deleted by the Thingy and the new toon created / claimed slot.
Thanks!

you probably confused the message, since reincarnating to 40 and stopping was possible in the past but is no longer allowed
