Don't know if this is what you're looking for...but I did something 'similar' as a set item effect applied to the PC on-equip.
Perhaps you could add a check to your module's on connect / on respawn scripts to apply this as a permanent supernatural effect?
But that's a work-around alternative really. You'd lose the effect on death, hence the on-respawn check. It sounds like you're more interested in making a permanent player file stat type mod. Could the BAB / AB adjustment be done using LETO, or is NWN-ExAlt the only viable option for you?
...Just brainstorming, hope it's useful...

If you read the thread, you'll see he already got his answer. The effect is useless as it falls under the +20 engine stacking limit.

Ah, OK if he's got what he needs then that's all that matters. As for the effect being 'useless' and capped at +20, you've piqued my curiosity. So...now I have questions related to the OP, if you will indulge me. For example: I have a custom HGLL motivated True Strike script applying an effect to NPC and PC alike that bumps AB well beyond +20 based on various values and character data/stats. And I can see the corresponding changes to rolls in the status window while fighting. Is the boost bogus and somehow limited within the game engine to a mere +20 even though I can see the much higher numbers that I expect in the status window? Also, when attacking I'm hitting my target between 50%-75% of the time while buffed. Whereas I miss about 90% of the time unbuffed. So it 'seems' like it's working. (* Pre buff the difference between enemy AC and my AB is about 40. Post-buff AC -vs- AB are within 5-10 of each other...IF it is working as I expected it to.) Is my perception incorrect; am I missing something important here? T.I.A. - MDF

If by status window, you mean character sheet, yes, that value doesn't reflect the cap. You need to go by the battle log.

I may have misstated the window name. But it's the one on the right when split and it shows your rolls and damage for attacks.
That's the window where I see the improved numbers, showing improved attack rolls going beyond +20. I can also open up my character sheet and see the AB for equipped weapons jump up well beyond +20.
For example, unbuffed AB for primary hand weapon starts around +68, buffed +108. And the scrolling attack rolls also show a corresponding improvement.
(* Can post screens if u like)
Are those numbers bogus???

The character sheet will always be wrong, as I said. The combat log should be showing the correct numbers, though. I'd be curious to see the screenie.

* EDIT 2.0 *
Yep, you're right. Just finished testing and the AB shows much higher on the character sheet but I'm still seeing only a +20 max improvement in attack rolls during combat.
Damn...how did I miss that...
Well, my NWNx reset plugin doesn't seem to be working on 64bit windows anyway. Discovered that today as well. 32bit was fine, but new server is 64bit and it doesn't reset anymore.
Damn +1.
Maybe it's just time to migrate to a linux server and use the Linux version of NWNx / NWNeXalt.

* Update * FYI: You guys likely know this already but the NWNX_FIXES DLL allows windows servers to uncap AB as well. Been using it for several months now. Works well. Even though I will ultimately be migrating all servers to Linux in the near future it is nice to see this functionality added for Windows via NWNx.
