I have been emailing Dungeon Server Support the past few weeks, documenting all server related issues, and sending them directly to support. Now, I have gotten a concrete answer back, on exactly what we should expect to be done about the issues (particularly the lag). Here is the email I just received:
Rip The Jacker,
Based on the types of problems your are experiencing, we'd like to move your server over to some different equipment. We need to schedule downtime for your server in order to do this. It sounds like you're already basically inoperable, so I imagine sooner is better. If you'd just like to authorize us to switch you ASAP, then I'll just get you moved as soon as you give me a go. Otherwise, we can schedule it anytime in the evenings (CST), early morning, or on weekends.
I am sorry it has taken so long to get back with you this weekend. This version 1.64 patch has caused us to have to rework some things.
So! The good news is, we will be having our server moved over to new equipment within the next week (I will TRY to announce exactly when the downtime will be, but is really all dependent on DS, not me). With that said, lets hope this switch will squash the lag bug that has been plauging the server of late.
