D&D 3.5 has a defensive feat set that parallels the Two Weapon Fighting. It starts with Two Weapon Defense: nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Two-weapon_Defense for a +1 shield bonus to dual wield/double weapons and proceeds to Improved Two Weapon Defense: nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Improved_Two-Weapon_Defense for a stacking +2 shield bonus, providing a cumulative +3 to AC through shield bonuses. I was thinking of adding this Feat tree, with the appropriate pre-requisites, to the Legendary Level set. Adding it would provide alternatives for additional armor for dual wield/double weapon builds. You could also, presumably, run up Epic and Legendary feats, but it might be a bit unbalanced.

Not sure if it is practical to add these feats to the pre-épic set. Maybe some sort of feat substitution. But as to power - Even if you add an extra epic feat with +2 and another legendary with another +2, it won't really be overpowered. A few weeks ago I ran my 3x paladin (a double weaponeer) through nessus and was reminded how bad things go for him when he faces critters like ichors even though he has the divine shield feat and +18 cha bonus, so +9 shield bonus. The combination of immunity drop and massive damage took him down so fast I couldn't even blink. That made the build awfully squishy when facing Tears, fumes, wynds, colds, ichors, deaths, Fogs, clouds, prysmatics and some others that escape me now. but that is one half the endgame maps at least for now. As game balance, well, that is a 4 feat sequence. I think only fighters would be able to afford them easily on top of other requirements, and let's face it, fighters need all the help they can get Take care Kaezar
