I took my BUR Concordant Coronet which had it's charisma modifier reduced from +12 to +11 and used an Augmenter of the Intuit that adds +5 charisma and level 3 sorc slots. At first I was concerned because the item description shows no charisma modifier but when I put it on I get +14 Screenshot on my Xfire And totally fantastic btw

Tried this with a Scintillating Scarf that I had also: Was reduced from Int +12 to +10. I augmented with a Still augment which should +6. And when equipped it's adding +12:

BURs which were randomized before the current update can't be augmented to +14. Only newly generated randomized BURs can be.

+14 is the new cap? Damn i wish that had been mentioned in the description of all the augmenters i've skipped in loot splits

Can Bur still lose the +12 stats, or is that protected. My greater psi actuator that I originally randomized looks a little silly now.

I understand that it is now possible to have a randomized BUR with a +14 stat. But, the above discussion suggests that by applying augments to a BUR without a +14 stat, you can increase it to +14. Is that right, or is the only way to get +14 to have it randomized onto it?

could a way to tell if an item can be raised to +14 before an augment is used be added? in other words items randomized before this patch
it would be quite fustrating to use a good augment on an item that cant get +14, especially if its an item you got in a trade

Has this been added yet? I've just augmented a Concordant Coronet to what I hoped was going to be 14, until I read this thread - it must have been randomised before the patch. I was hoping it might save anyone from making the same mistake. Edit: Nevermind. I should have read the update thread again first thanks!
