Introduction: Arcane Archor is always one of my favorate class in neverwinter, the accuracy of the ranged attack and the overwhelmingness of the damage output makes them quite a role in a solid party.
(Inevitables are constructs whose sole aim is to enforce the natural laws of the universe. Each type of inevitable is designed to find and punish a particular kind of transgression, hunting down a person or group that has violated a fundamental principle. and Kolyaruts is the kind of inevitable that metes out punishment to those who break bargains and oaths.)
After getting my aa to x2 demigod, i think i'd share the build i've actually thought of right when 30aa was introduced to HG. Althought he's the only toon i need tags in hell so far, i never get tired of playing him one run after another run.
What I want in the build:
--Dev critical route ( x4 crit hit multiplier, 17-20 crit range)
--High Dexterity while remaining the essential strength needed for dev crit (44str/60dex at double demi), which means not easy to fail either dex or str check in any areas
--High AC (136ac at double demi)
--Max Listen and High Hide Skill
-- High Discipline skill to resist most discipline check including Bueroza KD.
--High Concentration skill for elysium/aboleth (94concentration with bard song)
--Permanent Confuse immune
--Decent Sneak Attack damage(7d6sneak damage) together with the usual dev aa damage
--Fast Monk Speed for reposition in any fight

About the build:
1.there is a bur helmet: visor of vigilance, which provides both free ESF:Listen and +10 listen skill bonus, together with uncanny dodge+immune to flank attack. together with dim mak's +20 listen, with a bard song it's easy to max listen at 50.you can easily drop ESF:listen if u can aquire this item.
2.with this gear, concentration is 60 without any buff. so with a bard song it's gonna be 80 which is enough for elysium and aboleth hunting.
3.If you have robes the dim mak master, u can drop Epic Will. This way you get choose another feat, personally i'd suggest either epic fortitude or LSF:listen (if u have gear to boost enough listen, epic fort is a better choice).
4.the bur belt: belt of eternal preservation has 5 turns per rest critical hit immune, the more u have, the longer ur crit immune is. however, if u donot have the belt, it doesnot affect the build at all cuz critical immune is not really a must for aa. for alternative, Ainafea's Masterwork Belt + Ygrette's Evanescent Locket can easily replace the belt eternal preservation+amulet of pharaoh.
5.I donot have blind fight in this build and i donot actually have it on my aa. never had a problem without it since all it helps is just ignoring of -4AC penalty when blind. However, if you really think it's a must, drop sneak attack pandect for pandect of accuracy without sight.
About the playing of this build:
Shooting in a distance is AA's ability for sure but staying in the back shooting wonot make full use of this build. With 7d6 sneak attack damage and dev crit, shoot wisely is more of the way to play this build.
whenever a mob spawn, a quick monster recognition for what type of damage works is the first thing to do, then u need to know if it's critical hit immune or sneak attack immune. sneak immune or not determines whether u should stay in the back or stay within 10 feet for the sneak attack. while those without critical hit immune and have their special attack ability like kd/dom/stun/amnesia etc will be the first target. eg, gelugons/amnizus in stygia and cania; erinyes/cornugons/advespa in all layers; kytons in minauros. make full use of the x4crit mutiplier cuz that's ur specialize. However when a random spawns, taking down the nasty is the priority like bueroza, excruciator, falxugon etc.
Always prepare well with some scrolls like mords/bbod/mb/stf/gust/gs and quickslot playerassit tool. aa is anyhow not on the frontline, removing party member from stun/stone/kd is always an aa's part-time job. for the worse if there's a party wipe happening, u can still use timestop wand, raise party members and summon some bbod to draw the mob's attention temporarily.
In a word, Arcane Archor is pretty much fun to play on HG with the enhanced aa modification. learning mob's vulerability will be an infinite class for aa's. with the fast monk speed, u can easily reposition urself at any time. dev crit aa has decent str and dex which makes them not easy to get kd/dom by str/dex checks in hell. if played wisely, they can be a universal tank but with attack of opportunity each round. anyway, hope u enjoy the playing.
Any suggestion or question is welcome for sure, as always for me.
