You need at least a Rogue level to be able to open (or was it disable traps?) with DC greater than 35 (or was it 40). Anyway, this means you'd either lose Wisdom AC (Monk level is required for decent AC while dual wielding) or BAB 16 (Fighter levels grants 4 feats and an extra attack per round)
You could drop monk level and dual wielding for Rogue 4 BG 6 - using shield + assassin dagger

I wasn't aware of needing any rogue levels where is that information coming from? From NWN Wiki about Disable Trap : "Special: Rogue is the only class capable of disarming traps with a DC of 35 or greater. "

Ok now the better question is this still true for HG and/or can HG change it to CC Rogue or Assassin then for all other classes it requires 1 rogue level.

It is true for HG. That is the bread and butter of all loot wizards, PMs, theurges, rangers, etc; all it takes is one level of rogue, elf based subby and loads of skill points. As for changing it, I guess it always leads into flaming discussions about changing usefulness of rogues, locked/trapped chests and loot system in general. Needless to say, these discussions hardly ever lead anywhere.
