so, im tyring this cleric concept out, but since i dont have the aasimar race unlocked i went straight human (every other subrace seemed to have a decrease in either wis, or cha). so, im lev 9 now, and i dont think i have any of the cool features mentioned yet. i just acquired 2 attacks, with low ab (13/10 or something). i modified it slightly and dropped the wis to 14 and increased the int to 12 for more skill points, but even doing this i dont see how its remotely possible to max discipline (whats maxing that out do for ya anyway?) AND tumble, unless i just bank the points and dump them in at my next paly level and then blow the rest on tumble at level 40 monk. plus, right now im getting shafted on the tumble checks since apparently i cant use haste items yet, and my full-plate makes my tumble check abyssmal.

Regarding Skill Points, from Yue's build post:
Regarding Discipline from NWNwiki.com:
Since technically you should have no tumble yet, your tumble should be abysmal. Thats not great, but with the full plate and such you should be able to handle things, clerics should be able to hang with pure fighters at this level.
There are haste items that have a lvl 9 requirement but otherwise 2 more levels and you can wear the boots.
Not sure if dropping the wis was such a good idea.

Discipline is very important to resist a few other scripted attacks you may not know about, like the flesher's stripping attacks and the illithid graviter's gravity blast. Both can be devastating. By dropping wisdom to 14 you will not have enough wisdom for 9th level spells, namely undeath's eternal foe and silent mass heals. Also, monk gets discipline as a class skill, and tumble skill ranks add the same amount of AC even when wearing full plate/shield.
-EDIT- It seems I misunderstood your problem. You dont put points into tumble and disc cross class, you need to save all your skill points until level 40 and spend them when you take your monk level.

ok that clears things up. thanks. as to dropping the wis: i was gonna use 2 ability points towards increasing the wis. again, i had to go straight human to avoid any cha or wis decreases as a subrace (plus i did not want an appearance change since my buds and i are playing specific chars). i know by doing this my str wont be maxed, but i figured i would sacraifce a little to gain a lot (2 pts of str being a +1 to hit whereas the wis will effect my spellcasting abilities.)

How would fallen angel do with this build?

Very well, the extra wisdom and feats frees up 5 feats (if you use some of the extra to take spell focuses for epic spells) I put str at 15 (only taking great str 1-9), wisdom at 16, didn't take power attack, and the rest of the stats the same. I skipped out on the last point of wisdom for a 2nd epic spell focus.

I personally sacrificed toughness and epic reflexes to pick up epic spell penetration...so in the end I'll be at a 63 Spell penetration with LL pen, which is 5 short of the max 68, but a lot better than 51. Because I also sacrificed 2 pts of con to gain 2 pts of int, so I have maxed concentration/discipline, 40 tumble, and HEAL skill...for the inflict/cures. Umm I was thinking about trying this build...and read about the changes proposed by Delfestra...and altough it sounds reasonable Im a lil concerned if I go this way the build might end up not being as good on melee as it could and also not a viable caster...or are those changes a viable alternative? Yue...pls some advice here?..or Delfestra...have you tried this at LL? Thanks all for the help.

If I was going to do this build with the Fallen Angel subrace should I start WIS at 13 instead of 14 b/c fallen angel gives +5 ?
That way the stat will be even...
And what feat instead of divine might? Cleave?
Thanks.

Since Baseborn Titan gives you pluses to Str, Wis and Cha do you think that subrace would be better for this build over fallen angle?
Also, just curious if there is anything recent you would change to this build or if its pretty up to date.
Thanks!

Fallen Angel nets 2 extra feats, (power attack which you dont need to take, and divine might.) which this build very badly needs. The extra wisdom from fallen angel can also be used to swap out great wisdom from cleric epic bonus feats for epic spell focuses, and increase the amount of str you can start with.
I've also been meaning to update my builds and add a few more, but would need a few free hours to do so. I will get to it eventually.

I finnaly managed to get hold of Fallen Angel, so I wanted to try to make a battle cleric inspired by this build. It will be able to cast the 3 most group beneficial epics.
Is this the correct maximum AC calculation ?: 1 (dex) + 26 (best full plate) + 8 (tumble) +2 (armor skin) + 48 (natural,deflect,dodge) + 18 (shield) = 103 (crappy) + (self spell buffs) = ?
I want it to be a survivor that keeps the group alive, but not sure it can live up to this.
Ive fit in Abjuration and Divination (book) epics, since FA frees up lots of feats. I ditched Power attack, epic prowess and extend spell. I also put in lightning reflexes pre epic.
Anyone have any high level experiences to share with a character like this ? Will it be able to Mass rez twice per rest ? (cleric secret + miracle), if so, it should be a very good asset in the difficult areas of the world, if It can survive good enough that is..., thats my concern.

Of course not to mention 10 base ac and 20 ac from dodge (+16 from boots, +4 from haste).
Mass rez is doable twice per rest as you thought.
I have build similar like this, and I'm a little disappointed to it. Haven't used it after i got it to lvl 60.
