Funky,
I don't follow how you are able to max 8 skills with this build. I only count 7 (4 bard + 2 INT + 1 human). What is the 8th skill point per level that I am missing?
Thanks!

At first I wondered the same, but after reading some old update notes I noticed that apparently bards were changed to get one more skill point per level. The skill points for previous levels are given at level 41. If that is the case it would be good to add it to the Bard class changes on Customizations board because it seems to be missing there.

Thanks Morph! Now that I know to go look for it, I too found it in the archived mod updates. Now I can put the finishing touches on my Daywalker version of this build.
[Edit] - FYI - I checked in game last night (built a test bard) and there is no mention of an additional skill point being added.

how about your saves? for a Dexer it is mostly a good idea to take Strong Soul at level 1 and then Legendary Hardened Soul in LL levels.

The build I posted above would have Fort 60 Reflex 79 Will 63
Fitting in save feats would be a nightmare without Shard (and imo, is unnecessary) You can't really drop Dex feats as your AC is pretty low already and I can't see what else you could drop from it without killing the build.

Looks good to me. You could tweak it one way or another, but all the tradeoffs I see are arguable. You might, for instance, ditch two points of wis, losing 1 ac and 1 will, to add a point of cha, saving you a feat. If you didn't already have epic armor skin, that would be trading a point of will for a point of ac. As it is, though, I'm not sure there are any other feats I would trade. You COULD, however, use it to take epic great dex, and save yourself a moderately expensive point of it in creation. Just minor tweaks this way and that, none of which you may actually want.

How would making this a gnome shard do? are the xtra skill points worth the feat?

Not really. You are much tighter on feats than skillpoints. But that is, of course, your call. Funky

Not really. You are much tighter on feats than skillpoints. But that is, of course, your call. Funky Going gnome doesnt cost a feat, as they have Spell Focus Illusion for free. This build uses only one enabler feat (Artist). You just have to switch Transmutation and Illusion on build's progression. The impact would be on small size, dual wielding and AB .

Funky can you post an SS of your bard or give its equipment line up? Just wondering what a good balance is between items that give spell slots and items that help in combat and i am finding that to be a challenge. Any advice?

I have a pretty unusual gear setup, but it works for me. I'm the only person I know of that uses the Signet. Bulwark of the Choralist Claw of the Cinderscale x 2 Inspiration Scintillating Scarf Gauntlet of Transposed Energy Enfolding Captivation Divine Intervention Legendary Boots of Defense Signet of the Nine The other ring slots gets alternated between BUR Mord (on rak levels), BUR Breach (most other places, mostly for tanking Cornies), and Conservancy for Implosion areas. I'm currently also alternating in Gift of Undeath, for crit immunity, but only because I'm evil at present. When I reincarn it'll be with full UMD instead of partial. The Gauntlets and the Boots could definitely be better - I had been using Audacious Provocation, and am planning to switch to Leg. Boots of Absorption, in the short term, and in the longer term work out something using Snowshoes of Stygia and Golden Guard, or somesuch, for still greater immunities. The setup offers nice Magic immunity for swinging at hammies, and solid elemental immunity with shunt. The lynchpin is the set drop cloak, Enfolding Captivation, which allows you to wear something other than the thid bard helm. Funky

Heres my setup using Reaching for Damnation (asmo gloves).
Armor: Shroud of the earth mother Belt: Coil of Grabduk Amulet: Amulet of the Pharoah Boots: Legendary boots of Absorption Gloves: Reaching for Damnation Cloak: Cloak of the Elements Helm: Soul Mirror Weapons: Camizu's Strike x2 Rings: Usually either quaternary exotica or ring of the planewalker, combined with signet of mammon, signet of set Bhaalus Bane, or some other layer specific immunity ring.
This setup gets me an 75% to fire, acid, and cold and 50% to electrical, sonic without rings, along with allowing me to get up to 60% immunity to one exotic (usually magical) and 35% to the rest. It also covers all the basic immunities like poison, fear, disease, and paralysis, while maxing my perform, discipline, and taunt.
