Ok, this is my first time posting a build, so wish me luck! Oh, and I haven't tested anything . . . yet.
"Hoorns des Doods" is (somewhat old) dutch for "Horns of Death", it's supposed to be a strength-based minotaur assassin with both types of devastating critical.
Race:
Why minotaur? Strength bonus, large size, extra skill points, bonus feat and power attack.
Alignment:
Make sure you are evil when taking assassin levels and lawful when taking monk levels.
Stats:
Starting stats / with Minotaur
Str 16 / 20 (+5)
Dex 14 / 12 (+1)
Con 14 / 14 (+2)
Wis 12 / 14 (+2)
Int 12 / 12 (+1)
Cha 8 / 4 (-3)
Level breakdown:
In this order:
1 monk, 4 fighter, 2 monk, 2 fighter, 10 assassin, 1 monk, 20 assassin. (or 5 f, 1 m, 3 f, 10 a, 1 m for 1 extra fighter bonus feat, -1 to reflex and will saves and less skill points)
Feats:
In this order, or as soon as they appear. Exept for those in bold, they need to be taken at character creation.
1 human bonus feat: snake blood
4 fighter bonus feats: weapon focus (halberd), blind fight, great cleave, improved critical (halberd).
7 pre-epic feats: bullheaded, great fortitude, iron will, lightning reflexes, toughness, SF parry, SF hide.
7 epic feats: epic weapon focus (halberd), overwhelming critical (halberd), devastating critical (halberd), epic prowess, epic skill focus (hide), 2 x great strength
5 assassin epic bonus feats: swap 5 epic reflexes for 5 great strength feats
7 legendary feats: LSA discipline, LSA parry, LWF (halberd), legendary fortitude, legendary reflexes, legendary will, great strength
Saves:
The saves at level 60 (ability score bonuses maxed):
Fort +12 base +10 epic +5 legendary +8 constitution +20 bonus +9 feats = 64
Reflex +13 base +10 epic +5 legendary +7 dexterity +20 bonus +10 feats = 65
Will +9 base +10 epic +5 legendary +8 wisdom +20 bonus +10 feats = 62
Skills:
At level 6 or 7, you need to put 8 points into move silently. Max Tumble (60 max), Hide, Discipline, Parry and one more skill of your choice (PP, bluff, spot ?) whenever possible. Put leftovers into Use Magic Device.
Stats progression and Final stats:
All into strength.
Str 20 base +5 pre-epic +5 epic +8 feats +10 legendary +12 bonus = 60 (+25)
Dex 12 base +12 bonus = 24 (+7)
Con 14 base +12 bonus = 26 (+8)
Wis 14 base +12 bonus = 26 (+8)
Int 12 base +12 bonus = 24 (+7)
Cha 4 base +12 bonus = 16 (+3)
Offense:
16 base + 10 epic +12 legendary +7 feats +25 strength = 70 AB + bonus
4 base +1 haste = 5 attacks per round
critical hits: 18 halberd - 3 imp crit - 3 keen -1 over crit = 11-20/x3
Dev crit DC = 20 +25 +8 = 53
Defense:
10 base +16 shield +20 dodge +16 natural +16 defection + 12 tumble +armor = 90 +armor
With UR chain mail or breast plate and maxed dex, this would be 90 +29 = 119 AC
coupled with concealment around 60%.
Parry skill: 63 base +3 sf +7 dex - 10 tower shield -5 armor +50 items = 108 parry
