Paladins have it much easier on feats than either CoTs or BGs due to being able to splash CoT levels in LL for free great smite bonus feats. Like the BG this build includes UMD and LSA tumble. The prismatic version is shown below. The hound archon version is able to afford Devastating critical - at least when a martial weapon is used.

Skills
Max tumble, discipline and taunt on levels where you have them as a class skill. Extra points should go in concentration or possibly heal. You could swap also taunt for concentration, as pallies have a fair number of useful AB boosting spells that may need to be re-cast in combat.

Comments
LSA tumble gives this build some desperately needed AC (by the preponderance of RDD pallies that should be obvious). Pre-epic CoT level is for a boost to reflex saves - not entirely necessary but won't hurt your AB or anything else. Could skip devastating critical for some more great str feats if you are concerned about AB - but even so by my calcs it should be somewhere in the low 90s. Remember to read an enchantment tome for bonus to GMW. Note that the character sheet will be slightly off on your saves due to CoT levels.

Due to the int penalty on baseborn you'll have to drop taunt or you could add more CoT levels and drop UMD and evasion. Interestingly Baseborn titan is only marginally better than prismatic. You should read the enchant spell book to bring up your GMW.

This particular build combination leaves your charisma odd and due to the int penalty on prismatic you'll have to drop taunt. Be sure to read the epic spell focus enchantment tome to boost your GMW.

Not having any of the above subraces, I opted for half-dragon red, with minimal changes (strength begins at fourteen, and instead of the two great strength feats in epic, I'm choosing extend spell and another great charisma feat).

Is that going to nerf it?

I am curious about the choice of 2 Rogue. What are the + and - of splashing Rog as compared to Bard or Monk? There will be a little more damage on the sneak attacks but then again it will make fighting the undead slightly more difficult I think.

Magistratus - Half dragons are a reasonable choice. AB will probably be the deciding factor. But if you have enough skill points for taunt you can do something about it.

omino23- rogue is the primary choice due to UMD, bonus sneak attack damage and evasion with 2 levels. Monk gets you evasion but no UMD, bard gets you UMD and little else. You could go assasin, but no evasion.

Sabre, I did a build that had little difference from yours. I went with Pally 32/CoT 6/Rog 2.

The Difference in CoT lvls was mainly because as a function of the levels you get the paladin bonus feats, you don't get any extra feats going CoT 8 instead of CoT 6.

Also, I put my first level as a rogue. That gave me 24 extra skill points I badly needed with all the new skill afinites. I've not noticed any difference on the hit chances because of the -1 to AB.

Also, I went with a higher dexterity because of those naggling dex checks from Narzugons, Wasps and Erynies. Dexterity 12 makes a definite difference. As a side effect he does well by Malebranches now that they are out.

I've noticed the build is very resilient as long as you have your buffs and appropriate equipment. If you get breached, though, you go down fast.

I can get you more exact stats if you want them.
