both.
if it's unresistible damage what you're looking for it's faster and easier to just focus in strenght; both ways your ac and ab will suffer but relying on buffs only to be slighty suboptimal is what cripple this build playability

I don't think 90+ ab is that bad, the AC does suck though. This was originally supposed to be a character that excels at guild tournaments and killing hells bosses, and considering the Epic Transmutation wall is used for most hells bosses, defense isn't usually an issue (my original version of this build got tagged through the first 4 or 5 layers of hell with little difficulty). I thought a character that can deliver 25 unresistable damage per hit to a hells boss would speed up the fight considerably. Looking at Storm's Devastating Archer build, it seems pretty similar. This build -125 AC in hells gear (inc Asmo arti) -25 unresistable damage per hit - requires buffs, +9 enchant arrow (34) -19-20x3 crits -94 AB with 2xDemi (95 with dex arti) Storm's build -119 AC in hells gear with 2x demi (inc Asmo arti) -16 mighty damage - always on, +15 enchant arrow (31) -18-20x4 crits -101 AB with 2xDemi I'm guessing the AB and improved crits are what really make a difference, although I suspect the unresistable damage with this build would mean it would do better against crit immune mobs/bosses than Storm's archer. You could raise the AB a few points by swapping 6 CHA for DEX and using Demi gains and CHA arti to get back to a 20 CHA mod, but I'm not sure +3 AB at that stage would make much noticable difference, whereas -3 damage (don't have a CHA arti lying around) for that period would bother me. Plus you can always reinc after 2xDemi swapping CHA for DEX then (so CHA mod will be 20 after Demi bonuses) to gain a couple of points of AB extra.

Blind optimism? Anyone see a way of improving this further?

This build -125 AC in hells gear (inc Asmo arti) -25 un-resistable damage per hit - requires buffs, +9 enchant arrow (34) -19-20x3 crits -94 AB with 2xDemi (95 with Dex arti) Storm's build -119 AC in hells gear with 2x demi (inc Asmo arti) -16 mighty damage - always on, +15 enchant arrow (31) -18-20x4 crits -101 AB with 2xDemi Imagining both builds attacking crit immunes / hell bosses (in which case their damage looks similar because crit range/multiplier is then not a factor) can anyone speculate on whether the un-resistable damage would make much difference in the hells, where monster resistance/immunity to physical damage (such as the extra mighty and enchant arrow damage Storm's build has) is reputed to be very low?
