I've yet to see a Dwarven Waraxe build, much less dualing, for DDs, so here's mine. I'm not sure if the numbers are good enough though.
Not coincidentally, it has the exact same level spread and level order as the Tin Can (Yomi's Redux at least), it really is simply the best way to level a DD (for this kind of build).
Level Order
5 Bard
6 RDD
1 Bard
8 DD
(epic)
9 RDD
10 DD
1 Bard
Subby - Howler (Dodge, Toughness, Exotic Weapons, +6 Str, +6 Con, -3 Wis, -3 Cha)
Dwarf - Bullheaded, +2 Con, -2 Cha
Stats - base - dwarf - subby - final unbuffed
Str - 14 - 14 - 20 - 46
Dex - 14 - 14 - 14 - 16
Con - 14 - 16 - 22 - 26 (+2 from RDD)
Wis - 9 - 9 - 6 - 6
Int - 14 - 14 - 14 - 16 (+2 from RDD)
Cha - 13 - 11 - 8 - 10 (+2 from RDD)
When leveling, put two points into Dex and Con, and the rest in Strength.
Feats
7 General
1) Power Attack
2) Cleave
3) WF: Dwarven Waraxe
4) Great Cleave
5) Imp Crit: Dwarven Waraxe
6) Two-Weapon Fighting
7) Ambidexterity
10 Epic
1) Overwhelming Critical: Dwarven Waraxe
2) Devastating Critical: Dwarven Waraxe
3) Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
4) Epic Weapon Focus: Dwarven Waraxe (bonus)
5) Epic Prowess (bonus)
6) Armor Skin (bonus)
7) Epic Damage Reduction I (prereq for LBH)
8) Blindfight
9-10) Great Strength II
7 Legendary
1) LWF: Dwarven Waraxe
2-5) Legendary Battle Hardened (+5% Physical Dmg Imm)
6-7) Great Str IV
Skills
308 = 201 (L40) + 7 (Bard levels) + 100 (LL)
1) 35 Tumble
2) 43 UMD
3) 63 Discipline
4) 63 Craft Armor
104 points left, one full skill with 41 left over:
Parry? Listen? Craft Weapon?
The Numbers
Final Strength
58 = 14 (base) + 6 (subby) + 6 (lvlup) + 10 (LL) + 4 (feats) + 12 (items) + 6 (RDD)
Final AC
125 = 10 (base) + 9 (Dex) + 5 (RDD) + 7 (Tumble) + 19 (girded medium armor) + 5 (medium base AC) + 17 (defl) + 17 (nat) + 20 (dodge) + 12 (shield AC off axe) + 2 (Armor Skin) + 2 (Craft Armor with buffs)
Final AB
88 = 26 (L40) + 15 (LBAB) + 1 (WF) + 2 (EWF) + 1 (EP) + 3 (LWF) + 24 (Str) + 20 (buffs) - 4 (dual wield)
Crit Range
17-20/x3 (I think)
Saves
Reflex: 53
Will: 56
Fort: 62
Which skills? Is Parry all that useful with Crit Immunity and huge damage immunities? Is Listen any use if it's not maxed/not Wis-based? Would +1 or +2 AB be more useful than Listen?
I think I'll sacrifice two Great Str feats to fit in Legendary Luck. The saves are surprisingly... sufficient for having no save feats. About amnesia, I've heard DDs mention they rarely use Crit Immunity anyways... Anyways, yes or no on Legendary Luck?
The AB isn't too high. Should I skip the dual wielding feats, drop Dex some in favor of other stats, and go for higher AB? Would one rather have +10/+5 AB or +6/+6/+1/+1 AB? Either way, even dropping dual wielding this would enable the use of nice offhand items, like Min flags, or Torch of the Unwary, or Trickster's Friend. When things get dicey, you can always throw back on a BUR shield for +5 AC.
Should I get Expertise? I'm not sure the AB could take the hit, but the extra AC might be nice in some instances....
Phal pointed out that though Dex will be too high after double-demi for Pentavite, you can use the Min Electric Flag instead.
