Personally, I'm a very big fan of the RDD&BG combination, especially when devastating critical is present. (only need 10 skillpoints for hide) Which is why i decided to try Zerragon's Incinerator, with a few modifications.
At first, i wanted to try it with Pharlan, but being a half-elf means i get 1 feat less and also loose out on the metamagic spells. Perhaps I might come up with a Pharlan version that takes more sorcerer levels (and therefore doesn't *need* maximize in order to cast the level 9 spells...), but for now, here's my evil BFM tank. (note that I haven't actually built it yet, but I will be reincarnating an GDD into this within three days)
Starting stats:
Human - Radiance Genasi
STR 16 - 14
DEX 12 - 14
CON 14 - 16
INT 14 - 16
WIS 8 - 8
CHA 12 - 18
Half-Elf - Pharlan
STR 14 - 20
DEX 14 - 14
CON 14 - 14
INT 14 - 14
WIS 8 - 12
CHA 14 - 18
All in STR
5 Sorc, 10 RDD, 1 BG, 6 Sorc, 15 RDD, 2 BG, 1 Sorc
Feats (in correct order);
Pre-epic:
-Power attack
-Cleave
-SF: Evocation
-GSF: Evocation
-Resist Energy: Fire (Electricity for DSM I'm guessing?)
-Weapon Focus: Heavy Flail
-Improved Critical: Heavy Flail
-Great Cleave (RadGen)
Epic (including RDD bonus feats):
-Epic Toughness I-IX
-Divine Might (RadGen) / Epic Toughness X (Pharlan
Legendary:
-Great Cleave (Pharlan) / Epic Toughness X (RadGen)
-Epic Weapon Focus: Heavy Flail
-Armour Skin
-Epic Prowess (RadGen) / Extend Spell (Pharlan)
-Legendary Weapon Focus: Heavy Flail
-Overwhelming Critical: Heavy Flail
-Devastating Critical: Heavy Flail
Read the spell penetration tome: you aren't all that interested in casting, so I'm not wasting any feats on that. You DO get 5 of them nice hellballs per day..
Skills:
8 Lore (asap)
5 Hide (CC - asap)
30 Tumble (CC)
Maximize:
Discipline
Listen
Craft Armour
Craft Weapon
Parry
Put left-overs in concentration.
The radiance genasi version has better spellcasting(empowered & maximized brands) and 60 HP +1 fort more, but the pharlan version has levitation, +2 will save, +1 AB and longer lasting tensers, but less concentration. Both feature divine might.
