Star's right. I went off what the info said when I examined the arrows, didn't look at the code or go into great detail on the numbers. Ah, it raised my wisdom mod to 33 -- no wonder. I swear, stop playing NWN for a few months and you forget how to do everything 64 wis, 27 modifier -> 6d8 element (bonus), 2d12 element, 2d12 piercing, 2d12 exotic It's 76 wis, 33 modifier that gives the 8d8 bonus. Given all of that, AA's looking more attractive in damage output terms.

The ranger version also lets you splash mnk instead of bard for super AC. But the damage is so weak already and gate is so strong that I think I prefer the AA version. Still lookin for a malb group!

updated skills and fixe AB error.
I've found spellslots to be the biggest problem here because of gear limitations. If I am the only ploder, I tend to save my plodes a bit more for fumes/winds/machines rather than willy-nilly ploding for max kill count on a pure ploder.
