I havent made one of these in a while i think funky started to miss them! (hah if he even knew my quasi ideas where gone >.>) Reasoning: This Quasiclass taps into the chaotic and random sides of nature and magic and uses it to lash out at her enemies. Chaos Agent (Bard/Druid) Requirements: Bard Level 16 Druid level 16 Ambidexterity Armor Skin Lightning Reflexes Great Cleave
Benefits: a Chaos Agent uses Intelligence for DC for both Bard and Druid spells but requires the usual 10+Spell level Wisdom to cast druid spells and 10+spell level Charisma to cast bard spells. All spells use Bard + Druid -3 for Caster level and spell penetration.
a Chaos Agent Magically Cleaves when killing an enemy with a spell casting the killing spell (if any are left in spell book/per day) immediately on a random enemy in range.
a Chaos Agent's spells changes the Dice used in a spell d4 becomes d6, d6 becomes d8, d8 becomes d10, d10 becomes d12 d12 becomes d20 and d20 becomes 1/4d100 If a spell normally is 4d20 it becomes 1d100 ect.
a Chaos Agent gains 1+CL/10 Base AB when using two different weapons.
a Chaos Agent gains 3+Cha mod +Wis Mod shield AC (cap 14)when using armor above robes. and two weapons
a Chaos Agent may Cast shapechange to add 1d20+CL Fire Sonic Electric Acid Cold damage to both weapons for 4 Rounds

Cool concept, lotta overhead tho. Don't edit it in the same post, btw, some nice ideas.

funky... to inform the unlearned masses such as me.. but too much overhead do you mean scripting, or requirements to make the quasi... I would love to contribute but are missing what your critque means,

I mean scripting, it'd mean altering dozens of spellscripts at a minimum.

Hmmm, if something like this was implimented, I think it should have the added restrictions: Must *stay* Chaotic, and cannot have monk or paladin levels.

Oops Delf you caught that. my mistake i meant him to remain chaotic but i guess it slipped my mind.
Oh and here is a less Scripting (hopefully) version of the class: (if the cleave is too intensive scripting wise) Chaos Agent (Bard/Druid) Requirements: Bard Level 16 Druid level 16 Ambidexterity Armor Skin Lightning Reflexes Great Cleave Must Remain Chaotic Benefits: a Chaos Agent uses Intelligence for DC for both Bard and Druid spells but requires the usual 10+Spell level Wisdom to cast druid spells and 10+spell level Charisma to cast bard spells. All spells use Bard + Druid -3 for Caster level and spell penetration.
a Chaos Agent gains 1d100 magic damage on cleave attacks.
a Chaos Agent's spells changes the Dice used in a spell d4 becomes d6, d6 becomes d8, d8 becomes d10, d10 becomes d12 d12 becomes d20 and d20 becomes 1/4d100 If a spell normally is 4d20 it becomes 1d100 ect.
a Chaos Agent gains 1+CL/10 Base AB when using two different weapons.
a Chaos Agent gains 3+Cha mod +Wis Mod shield AC (cap 14)when using armor above robes. and two weapons
a Chaos Agent may Cast shapechange to add 1d20+CL Fire Sonic Electric Acid Cold damage to both weapons for 4 Rounds
(if the Dice is too intensive) Chaos Agent (Bard/Druid) Requirements: Bard Level 16 Druid level 16 Ambidexterity Armor Skin Lightning Reflexes Great Cleave Must Remain Chaotic Benefits: a Chaos Agent uses Intelligence for DC for both Bard and Druid spells but requires the usual 10+Spell level Wisdom to cast druid spells and 10+spell level Charisma to cast bard spells. All spells use Bard + Druid -3 for Caster level and spell penetration.
a Chaos Agent Magically Cleaves when killing an enemy with a spell casting the killing spell (if any are left in spell book/per day) immediately on a random enemy in range.
a Chaos Agent's spells use any spell level when casting using !chaoslvld 3 would mean to cast a level 9 spell you use up spells from levels 1-3 to equal 9 spell levels. !chaoslvdl 6 uses levels 1-6 ect. !chaoslvlb is for bard and !chaoslvld is for druid.
Or
A Chaos Agent may use spells in its spellbook to emit a raw burst of damage. 1d100 per level 9 spell burned 1d20 per level 6 spell burned 1d12 per level 3 spell burned At level 32 the damage may be fire electric cold acid or sonic at level 48 the damage may be magic at level 56 the damage may be negative at level 60 the damage may be divine or positive The damage choice is random. You may set !damlvl X to use X spell levels from your spellbooks.
a Chaos Agent gains 1+CL/10 Base AB when using two different weapons.
a Chaos Agent gains 3+Cha mod +Wis Mod shield AC (cap 14)when using armor above robes. and two weapons
a Chaos Agent may Cast shapechange to add 1d20+CL Fire Sonic Electric Acid Cold damage to both weapons for 4 Rounds
(if both are too intensive) Chaos Agent (Bard/Druid) Requirements: Bard Level 16 Druid level 16 Ambidexterity Armor Skin Lightning Reflexes Great Cleave Must Remain Chaotic Benefits: a Chaos Agent uses Intelligence for DC for both Bard and Druid spells but requires the usual 10+Spell level Wisdom to cast druid spells and 10+spell level Charisma to cast bard spells. All spells use Bard + Druid -3 for Caster level and spell penetration.
a Chaos Agent gains the ability to fire bolts of random damage type dealing 1d100 damage each bolt the number of bolts is equal to the Chaos agent level /6 twice per day
The Chaos agent may transform into a Avatar of chaos gaining 20 Regen/round and dealing 3d20 random damage to every enemy within 10 FT every round lasts Chaos Agent level/6 rounds
a Chaos Agent gains 1+CL/10 Base AB when using two different weapons.
a Chaos Agent gains 3+Cha mod +Wis Mod shield AC (cap 14)when using armor above robes. and two weapons
a Chaos Agent may Cast shapechange to add 1d20+CL Fire Sonic Electric Acid Cold damage to both weapons for 4 Rounds
Feel free to mix and match, i tried to keep it balanced but it may not be.

Interesting. I see one big problem: a Chaos Agent uses Intelligence for DC for both Bard and Druid spells but requires the usual 10+Spell level Wisdom to cast druid spells and 10+spell level Charisma to cast bard spells. AND you want this Quasiclass to attack with weapons which means implicitly that you need STR or DEX and some points in CON. The ability requirements are a bit too high in my opinion. This would only work for an upper non-free subrace I guess..

AND you want this Quasiclass to attack with weapons which means implicitly that you need STR or DEX and some points in CON. The ability requirements are a bit too high in my opinion. This would only work for an upper non-free subrace I guess.. That also depends on the intention behind the class. Is it a caster, or a melee, or both. If both, like a Staffmaster or Pariah then it should use part of it's main fighting stat as DC. The stats needed for the classes are also an issue - Bard needs CHA for spells, druid needs Wis, you also need dex as this seems to be a dex-based melee build. Perhaps something like: - Cha18
- Wis18
- Bard12
- Druid12
- Ambidex
- AC Skin (not sure I see the relevance though)
- Lightening Reflex
- Great Cleave
Use dex as your DC stat, so you still can cast somewhat. This puts you into the realm of the staffmaster, but with very different spells - spells geared more toward offense than defense I think? All in all sounds like a cool class. Kinda like a Theurge but bardic-druid based

THE idea behind the quasi is you pick, you dont do BOTH.
A chaos agent would use Kobold, or Fire gnome hobbit female drow, as open races, With UR + Secret Aleithian Dwarf, Chaos Gnome, Whisper Gnome, Atomie, Githzerai Githyanki, Pixie**, Fallen Angel, Illithid,Kenku,Rakshasa, PLanewalker. with BUR it opens up even more, Shard, Rilmani. Hound Archon, Half-Kyton, Half Celestial, Genie(as a caster version only), Radience Genasi, Negatai(as a caster version only), Pharlan, Half-Guardinial, Undying, Im going to use pixie, its not outragous to assume someone who would like this quasi would try to get pixie, and its not as if pixie is incredibly difficult to get.
Pre subrace: STR 9 DEX 12(14) CON 12(10) WIS 16(18) INT 13(17) CHA 14(16) Pixie i consider very perfect +2 to all stats involved. alright now this means you need 1 point into wisdom and then you have 19 wis, which is all that is needed, Then your good for wis/cha and the 19 other stats go into INT, 36 base INT pre feats put 4 or 6 feats into great int thats 40 or 42 int and 52 or 54 int with items that is 22 modifier. that is 10 below the max on a pure caster, but you gain more spells an benefits, and if you use 10 feats you get 4 more int, 2 more modifier.
TO fight the INT turns to Dex. and you use druid and bard buffs.
