Kensai Quasiclass
======================
Requirements: Must have 15 levels of Monk and Weapon of Choice in a sword before level 20. Possible weapon choices are: Shortsword, Longsword, Rapier, Scimitar, Katana, Bastardsword and Greatsword.
Benefits:
+Upon meeting the requirements somewhere between levels 15 and 20, the character becomes a Kensai and recieves an item called Kendo. When activating Kendo, the Kensai adds his wisdom bonus to damage and AB (possibly resulting in an additional attack) and add his parry skill/6 as a shield AC bonus to his AC. Activating Kendo will use up 1 use of Ki strike. Every number of rounds equal to his wisdom bonus afterwards, another use will be taken. The damage is of slashing type and will be multiplied on a critical hit. If the Kensai has a base wisdom of at least 38, he can opt for half of this damage to become positive damage. A base wisdom of at least 48 is required for 100% of the damage to become positive.
+Since this is basically a monk with a sword, Diamond soul and Wholeness of body use Monk level + WM level.
+If the Kensai has the Circle-kick feat, each time he scores a critical hit, he will have a % chance equal to his WM level to gain an additional attack that round (this does not include LL's, so the maximum is 25%).
+He can use the command !flurry (or anything like that) to add 1 attack per round, at the cost of -2 ab.
Obviously, all of the above mentioned benefits only work when wielding the Sword of Choice, with exeption of Diamond soul and Wholeness of body.
Restrictions:
+May not wear any armor heavier then robes, or use any shield.
+May not wield any weapon in the off-hand.
Some Notes:
Wisdom replaces both dex and strength, when compared to other tanks: I did some calculations on AC, AB and damage output (using standard races) and found that AC was slightly lower than or equal to a dexer's, AB when using Kendo was (as supposed) fairly high and damage output only slightly less than a strength WM. Since both wisdom and strength/dexterity add to AB, this counters the "loss" of AB due to 15 monk pre-epic. The wisdom bonus adding to BAB, will counter the "loss" of a 4th base attack, in case the Kensai had to take 17 or more monk levels pre-epic. Parry and the combination of wisdom and dexterity will counter the "loss" of AC due to the incapability to use a shield. Also, I originally thought Base parry/5, resulting in a max of +12 to ac, however it felt like not making sense, which is why I changed it to parry/6. Although that might still be too powerful, but as wisdom does not add to parry, it might not be really easy to reach 120 parry.
If WM+Monk for SR and Wholeness of body is too powerful, then by all means, lower the WM part. Or have the SR raised only when using Kendo.
Hope you like this one as well
