The Blighter is a twisted perversion of the druid's path - a nature-worshiper whose devotion has been tainted by congress with fiends and undead. Turning from their druidic vows, the blighter focuses on converting unspoilt beauty into wasteland, fueling their dark powers.
Requirements before lvl 27:
Druid 16
Blackguard 10
20 Skill points in Intimidate.
Greater Spell Focus: Conjuration.
A blighter gains the following abilities:
Plant domain feat. For the purpose of turning plant domain creatures the blighter uses druid+blackguard levels.
Elemental shape becomes undead shape and follows the same rules as shifter undead shape except that it uses Druid+Blackguard lvls to calculate EP.
Undead Allies. Upon becoming a Blighter, characters can acquire the ability to summon unnatural allies. The Heal skill determines the power and shape of those allies.
Upon becoming a Blighter some druid spells use druid+blackguard lvls and are cast using STR to calculate DC.
Spell list:
Lvl 9:
Summon Creature 9 (summons an undead animal)
Earthquake (damage change from positive to negative)
Cast in Stone
Lvl 8:
Finger of Death
Mass Inflict Critical Wounds (instead of cure)
Lvl 7:
Creeping doom
Fire Storm (negative dmg replaces divine)
Mass inflict serious wounds (instead of cure)
Summon creature 7 (summons undead animal)
Lvl 6:
Crumble (rename Rot)
Mass inflict moderate wounds (instead of cure)
Stonehold
Lvl 5:
Awaken
Death Ward (grants crit immune at 40str)
Inferno
Lvl 4:
Call of Stone
Flame Strike
Lvl 3:
Call Lightning
Greater Magic Fang
Infestation of Maggots
Poison
Lvl 2:
Desert Sirocco
Blood Frenzy
Lvl 1:
Foundation of Stone
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The main aim of this quasi is to destroy plant life (turning) and the change from having animal companions to more powerful undead companions. The spells are mostly destructive. The idea is based on a prestige class from a d&d book.
