w00t new areas + legendary level runs!
so anyway
Yetiskin gloves, cloak, boots and light armor. White dragonscale medium and heavy armor. White dragon tooth pendant. Considering the cold and the undead, damage types on weapons/gloves would be lots of cold, neg and some magic? Items with immunity to spells like cone of cold, ice storm. I can imagine large resistances to cold, perhaps % immunities to cold, negative as well?

Or you can make another NPC in town with the colleciton of some hard to get crafting items able to upgrade lvl 29/35 weapons to more powerfull items and make them no-drop so they cant effect the economy.

Are these gonna be arti-runs like Rona?
I was thinking we could use some BUR quality medium armour but makes no sense to put that in a "normal" LL run.

something popped to my mind all of a sudden: when 1.69 kicks in, are there going to be areas using the new tilesets? if so, I think i might find the time to help designing areas etc (if you needthe help) same goes for these, if you still need help making them that is. I'm sure as hell looking forward to those artic areas (i loved the IWD series)

The Pit -might- be an artifact run, but the other two definitely will not be.

Hmm. Well, how about a dragon and dragon disciple area located north of Mt. Preeth? already has a seque area and further access blocked off by unbreakable barricades. For all the dragonslaying needs! Could even put the Con Arti there...
As to the loot stuff? Perhaps some unusual gear aimed specifically at quasi classes? Like a sickle with damage types and cleric spells, for threaders (or tankclerics) Medium armor (about UR quality) with sorc spells, for BFMs (they've got nothing until Maladomini scales) A sling for slingers, to fill the gap from ssithrak to beholder sling. Small shield with cleric slots, for slingers. Appropriate weight armor with bard spells, for dex bards/Warchanters A lash specific whip. A lash specific heavy plate, maybe with ranger spells at 1&3 only and charisma/wisdom. Paladin specific singing sword, perhaps enhancing their deafening clang and as an upgrade to the class secret weapon?
A Heart of Ice (like the Heart of Fire, but for Cold?) Defoliant bombs. Fort save or die vs myconids and such only. Consumeable
Touch of the Wraith: Shifter specific gloves that give a bonus to wraithtouch DCs while shifted Claw of the Dragon: Shifter/Druid specific gloves that give an bonus to AB for dragon shifters or dragon tank druids.
And how about that Jewel of Evernight?

It would be nice to have a set PM-specific EVIL armor that gives slots for levels 3-7, with immunity to fear, meteor storm, and KD The actual AC enhancement on it can be low since the thid bracelet overrides everything under +18 anyway. I know there is the BUR one (ye gads I wish it was UR), but it would be nice to have a semi-set loot that encourages making an evil PM directly, and maintaining the evil status.

I definitely agree with the more crossbows. Maybe there should be some that generate their own ammunition, sort of like the DB bows, but weaker, and require a certain amount of UMD? I was also thinking you could fit AA shortbows into one of the areas, there would be 3 bows in total. They work like the DB bows again, and require AA, give an extra shot, however, their bonus 5d20 damage is slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning depending on the bow. Definitely more nice medium armor. I would also suggest some casting shields and armors that have no spell failure, they are not EV/premonition safe.
