Wow, SUCH weird areas! Items targetted at Quasiclasses and Prestige Classes would be very nice, especially more class-restricted items (thinking of Thid Wizzy Bracers, or the Rogue Gloves there). It was cool seeing Uncanny Dodge show up on an armor (despite its uselessness), perhaps more items with "odd" feats like these that you usually don't see on equipment? Skill focus feats (for Listen, Parry, etc, not Open Lock, Untrap, Search), Toughness, Armor Skin on caster items (just for giggles), Great Spell Focus. The spell powering items are nice too, like the items that let you cast Premo at two higher levels or auto-extends Healing Circles. Maybe one to give +1 AC to Barkskin castings in the Mycondid Depths area. Also, armors with 10% more Phys immunity than other armors of that class? But no other buffs on them. Oooh, and special item-crafting items for whenever the smith comes out

Right now rogue items have a void for open locks/disable trap, firstly rogue usable items before 50 so that they can get the chests in places like Desert/Dustbone, secondly rogue items that don't require 20 rogue/assassin levels so that builds can still hit the 50 skill cap (without bard help) if they don't have the required levels.
For pre-50 rogue items armor may be a good slot for something in the +7 to +10 range (to be upgraded eventually to trickfoots) or gloves (to be upgraded to Rano's eventually), for general +skill items boots, helm and possible a holdable. For helm, boots and holdables even if they are only +2 or +3 skill are still good items, making rogues without 20 rogue/assassin levels work to hit the cap, while at the same time keeping Rano's vendetta valuable.

More weapons along the line of the ranger secret rapier or that 'useless' set loot mace in desert... +13 or +14 hitroll and 4 types of damage on it, especially in the lower level zone, so that new players can get intermediate weapons if they haven't found level 35 weapons yet (and aren't ready for Dustbone yet). Especially handy with the increased number of weapon types, allowing more flexibility if you don't already have a huge vault of weapons to pick from.
Immunity rings with 50% elemental, 15% exotic, and 10% exotic damage immunity on 1 ring.

Hmm. Following the idea for a paladin-secret weapon upgrade, perhaps EACH of the class secret ITEMS out there could stand to do with a UR-quality upgrade?
They were all made at a time when thoughts on equipment creation were different, and the top areas of the server were much less painful. Currently, none of the class secrets I am familiar with are really viable past 40ish, if they even reach that level. Perhaps they could have a re-evaluation and those found lacking could have an upgraded version placed in the new areas?

How about a shield for clerics! A shield that can give clerics spell slots sort of like the wizzy bracers in thids. and the sorc and bard helm in thids. would be great if clerics could get a shield with good amount of spell slots.

How about some weapons with spell slots? Personally, I find it weird that every caster in HG charges into combat with just a staff.

Perhaps make use of some of the named suggestions for CEP weps that were marked as "other" and not put into effect. That would be nice.

Additional robes and armor choices for levels 40-50 would be great, a la the Hall of Kings set items. I'm tired of Ssith/D'Quarite robes, Ssith medium armor and the Immo plate!

Large and especially double weapons with (some) shield AC on them please. Wielding two handed weapon by a tank is almost unthinkable if not suicide in the higher areas of the mod.

Battleloth's Arrows, Axe (hand/battle/great), Crossbow (light/heavy), Pick (heavy/ligth), Spiked chain (whip) and Sword (short/long/bastard/great) I have no idea what properties they'd have, but you'd find 1 of each as somewhat static drops (like the thids swords, desert weapons).
different types of Spore bullets. perhaps Spores as grenade-like throwables
