On one comp the HGE Updater worked fine for CEP and in the end gave me a prompt to close the DOS window once it was done, which is the only reason I suspect it did NOT work on a second comp where the HGE Updater shut down suddenly and did so, so fast I cannot even tell you what it was last working on. Is there a way to recall where HGE Updater last left off so I can see if I got a similar message to Halo? Open a DOS prompt and navigate to the Neverwinter Nights folder (for example, if it is in C:\Neverwinter Nights\NWN, type: cd "\Neverwinter Nights\NWN" and press enter), then type: Acaos

trying to install this now via hgeupdater, it gets halfway through and says erf.exe error and shuts down... technical info below, please help AppName: erf.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: erf.exe ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0001f653 Which version of Windows are you running? Could you look under your Neverwinter Nights folder (especially in the hak folder) and delete all '.update' files and try again? (e.g. cep2_core1.hak.update) Thanks, Acaos

Deleted one .update file I had accumulated in the hak folder and then it completed the load smoothly ending with a message to that effect and a prompt to close DOS rather then just dropping the program.
