I dunno what's up, I've done the Hive before with no issues, and now it's the only place on the server I crash.
The Issue:
I can't display the floor in the 2nd area of the hive. The first area is fine, and the computer is fine as long as I'm looking up at my character from the ground. As soon as the floor comes into view in the second area, the display (entire monitor, windowed mode and all) freaks out, glitches, mouse becomes nearly unresponsive, and CPU use goes through the roof.
I've done Hive runs before and this has never happened (it's a recent thing),
I've tried reverting back to older drivers for my GFX card.
I've tried updating, no new drivers.
I've run the nwconfig.exe each time after a change to the computer and rebooted: no luck.
--Noticed it says I have no NVIDIA drivers in nwconfig.ini, only OpenGL, and something called "LogMeIn Mirror Driver" which is weird, because I've never had it installed on my computer.
Computer Specifics:
Dell Inspiron 531 running Windows Vista Home Edition: 32-bit
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.10GHz
Memory: 3.0 GB DDRII Memory
GFX Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT: 512 memory
Any advice? At this point I've become very frustrated, and am tempted to wipe my HD and install a familiar OS, maybe even go to Linux, if someone can point me to an Easy-to-Follow and COMPLETE (I say such because even the bioware says "do this" but doesnt explain what "this" is) setup for NWN.
**NOTE**
Also looking over my display adapters under my registry, the "LogMeIN Mirror Driver" is my main driver. I'm going to remove it, and reset my adapter and see what happens.
