Have you considered something like Dim Maks for +14 wisdom robes? The AC drop is minimal for the +1 DC.

I have a build similiar to this and am going to reincarnate, I like all of the offensive capabilities of the druid. I'm trying to figure out a way to build with greater ruin and attain high lore for additional evocation damage.
Thoughts?

You can always drop 2 wisdom. You give up 1 DC across the board and you "get it back" and more by using those feats to pick up another a legendary focus in a spell focus area such as evocation (damage spells + better overall D/C in all evocation spells). You could also do legendary conjuration.
Desert Sirocco (evocation) (wind killer) would be one spell to benefit from this, plus if you dropped Maximize and went with Empowered instead you could do Empowered Firestorms (evocation) which is Lore benefited and is greatly better than bombards in most situations.
More importantly you pick up those two feats at very little cost to your overall effectiveness if you wanted another way to generate feats.

You could also do legendary conjuration. If you want legendary evocation just drop epic mage armour for it. I have found that fumes get gusted more than fast enough without epic focus, and maggots are great fun to use in some cases. Dropping your max dc on drown, gaze and crumble is a pretty high price. As for conjuration, I would argue that it is next to useless in todays game. Grease and stonehold are more annoying than anything else in most cases. The only reason I take epic conjuration at all is because Rilmani gets it, and I wasnt willing to take the Con drop to go HC instead. Im not quite sure what your talking about regarding the metamagics here, I have extend empower and maximise listed. Honestly when it comes to lore, im not impressed with it on druids. Your two true damage spells are ES and Bombards, neither of which are lore boosted. Sure you can argue that inferno, ice storm, call lightning and firestorm are viable damage spells, but they are mostly d6, which is just weak. Plus, druids just dont get the range of elements that other casters do. So when it comes down to it, of all the things that you can do during a fight, your only gonna start using damage spells when only the pit fiends or malebs are left. For malebs you lack acid damage, so you rely on weak damage with firestorm or inferno, which is easily matched by ES. With pit fiends you do a bit better with ice storm, but again its matched by ES. What you really gain is the ability to cast damage spells at a few very rare mobs, like superior/elite pfs/malebs. I really dont think its worth it, if your lacking in something to do creeps always work well.

Thinking about a druid but only have zeny and fallen angel as subbies with wis bonus. If I were use one of those I'd have to either give up one of your spell foci or at least two of the meta magics (and a legendary focus).
Which would be least painful to give up?
Thanks in advance,
T

That is a very difficult choice. I would probably drop necro as none of its spells are truly required. Alternatively you could drop two gr wis and epic mage armour.
