Hello, I am a developer for a modern server that should be using simtools soon, but I was wondering how you would go about renaming the languages, I found the keys for what letters equal what, but it listed the strings, not the actual text within said strings for the names of the languages, so where would that be stored, personally I would like to be able to change the names of the languages, and if possible starting languages. Thank you for reading -Serenity

It's possible to change the names of languages, certainly, but not simple. There are a whole host of language functions that would need to be altered, beginning with GetLanguageNumber and GetNameOfLanguage in fky_chat_inc. Once you've assigned new names to all the languages there, and cut out any choices you didn't like, you'd have to step through all the functions fired off in the process of speaking and learning languages, beginning in fky_chat's //Speech Processing// section, and change their names to match - functions like TranslateCommonToLanguage and Process(Language).
Hope that helps.

Thanks, for the help, I was under the impression it was a single string to change the name... that sounds like a headache for a rookie scripter but thank you very much for the help, doesn't hurt to try I suppose. -Serenity
