Fair enough its not much of a problem as it still recognizes them as a kill
Neither, the gui line looks like so
windowpossize=x1024 y0 w252 h768
and thats what its as when snarl runs, but the stat box is non changed

Digging the SNARL.. handy for folks like me with a small chunk of time to dive in and get into a run. One thing that would be handy is some way to tell the gui exactly which nwn exe to run - in my case, I have both the HG and original one separate so that if I get bugged I can quickly switch. Be handy to have it in a config or something..

i am kinda thinking different font sizes are causing elements to overlap for some people, since several controls use rows instead of pixels as sizes. i made an alternate gui.ini with only pixel sizes. just put in /config and override the other one. please let me know, if that fixes anything. dl: gui.ini

Is there any easy way for you to implement a "parse old log files" option for this? I'd like to look at some older log files, or parse people's logs when I'm not on the run (and they send me the file).

I have an issue with the logger window, in that it is just too long. With 1280x800, max my laptop can do, I cant see too far past the AC part, meaning I cant get to any of the buttons at all. Would it be possible to make it so that we can change the size of the two main white boxes? Fantastic job bhao, this is by far the most user freindly and sophisticated logger we have had so far.

I'd like to look at some older log files, or parse people's logs when I'm not on the run (and they send me the file). since there is no way to force a !who or a !count demi on an already existing log, it would be difficult to gather all the relevant player data unless it just happened to already be in there. one fix would be a window where you could enter/point out these things, but that needs to be done first. I have an issue with the logger window, in that it is just too long. With 1280x800, max my laptop can do, I cant see too far past the AC part, meaning I cant get to any of the buttons at all. Would it be possible to make it so that we can change the size of the two main white boxes? you already can. check out config/gui.ini. i still haven't figured out why some can't change the overall size of the window itself, since it works without a hitch for me, but even only repositioning the controls within it should solve your problem.

Very cool, well I have worked up a gui config for 800 pixel monitors by scrunching some things and removing the stopwatches. Unfortunately it seems that the ability timer window doesnt really care what you tell it to do, it stays the same no matter what. Before I post the config I would like to make that box a little smaller.

Very nice logger, got it partially work with wine under Linux. Didn't get any data to run log(Html file) but maybe I'm still doing something wrong.

Very nice logger, got it partially work with wine under Linux. Didn't get any data to run log(Html file) but maybe I'm still doing something wrong. does it notice you (put your name in the log window's top control) when you activate the scry? if not, you might have the same problem win7 users are having. it sometimes can't detect changes to the log. i already coded an alternate log change detection method for win7. the new ones doesn't really play nice with other loggers, but is actually faster in noticing new log lines, especially on systems that have a lot of other things going on. going to put it up as soon as i know it works right under win7. maybe that one will fix your linux problems too.

0.92b5: - fixed called shot detection for alignment shifting kills
- improved nwn detection
- added alternate log detection method for windows 7. works for xp and vista too and actually finds changes faster than the default method, but doesn't play nice with other loggers
- changed gui to play nice(r) with windows 7 and alternate themes. probably still won't work with windowblinds.
- added options menu for the ini impaired
- fixed a bug where sometimes not all log lines were copied to the permanent logs. (damn concurrency)
- fixed ability timers control placement
- added monster race to stat window and mob ini
- added detection of know vulnerabilities spells. (new) monster information gets automatically written to the appropriate monster data file
the know vulnerabilities spell can now be used to generate a permanent monster database. once you cast the spell all the information will be written to the currently active mob_*.ini (can be set in the options menu) or to the one that already contains (partial) information on the target. this information is then displayed in the monster details window and can also be used to quickly find weaknesses in the active monster list. example stinger archer:

I have started using this (as you may have guessed, the KV capabilities won me over but I seem to have a problem with the server/player part of the program. I have "error getting shout list" and all the servers have question marks behind them. Also, I already have a massive collection of KV data, including most bosses and miniboss in the module (LL runs and up). Is there a way that I can integrate this into Snarl for my guildmates? Let's assume that I post a file somewhere in a secure location for them to regularly download (as I make updates) and that I have information in text form (although not necessarily in the exact form Snarl will recognize). One more request ... for the KV info file ... is it possible to have a sort of comment field that users can add for things like delineating sets of data? For example, if I have an already massive collection of data, and I decide to, say, KV everything in Dulvuroth ... it would be kind of nice for me to edit the data (sort the mobs first by run, then by names alphabetically within the run set). Obviously, I can already edit the data to do the sorting. But being able to add structure with comment fields like the following would make it easier to edit (IMHO): Does this functionality exist already? Might make it easier to edit the files. NB: I only used double slash (//) cuz that is what NWScript uses. Anything would be fine.

092b6: - fixed bugged heal multiplier right after kving a monster
- updated immunity calculation for paragons
- added "spell immnities" to the monster database
- kv now respects paragon templates and will no longer override damage immunity calculations by writing damage immunities for known paragons and minis that have paragon templates. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING. this also does not affect other paragon information like race or healing
- the stat window now shows your own damage immunity and reduction when you use !list imm (or vvd with quickchat extention). only reduction from equipment is displayed, not from spells. this only works, if you identified yourself by using the scry once first.
- new option/ini key "MobIniPath", if you don't like the default mob db location
- new ini key "DamageOrder", if you don't like the default damage type order
- flipped the refresh and connect buttons
- added a menu to the main window and moved several buttons there
- to keep new versions from overwriting the settings all the time, ini files in config are now only created if they don't already exist. this way, new versions can be extracted over old ones without having to worry about data loss. to further allow easy extraction to the same location, the version number from the directory inside the archive was removed.

Hi bhao. Is there anyway to save the info if you accidentally close the game without 'stopping' SNARL? I keep forgetting to stop it and then I lose all the logger info. Thanks for your work in this, I really love the KV info dump. -qt
