My anti-virus program (Sophos) pops up and warns me that my PC is affected by a dll that is a undefined POA (POA = "Potentiell unerwünschte Anwendung" = Potentially unwanted application) called "MadCodeHook".
Is this from HG, CEP or maybe the HG crossroads loader program? Is "MadCodeHook" save or should I try to removed it?

PCThreat says its bad adware (hence popups and privacy issues); I'd get rid of it. I certainly haven't heard of any other forum members with this problem.

MadCodeHook is a completely legitimate tool used by NWNX for Windows for hooking into the NWN server executable. MadCodeHookAcaos

Ah thanks, I'll add MadCodeHook to the "allowed" list.

Ah thanks, I'll add MadCodeHook to the "allowed" list. Just to be clear, this isn't related to anything we do on HG proper (though we do use NWNX here, and we have used MadCodeHook in the past for testing our own stuff, but it's entirely server-side). So if you have it, it may be because you installed NWNX or some other application which uses MadCodeHook. It's not distributed as part of HG Enhanced. Acaos
