Yes, generally speaking any delay in info showing in Webdash would be because the data file it picks up from the HG servers is stale. Also as Salek says, timestamps may be wrong if the server times themselves are off.

Would be cool if Limbo would be included in Webdash:Quest Status.

Dirk has said in a previous post that he rarely checks the forums for new information. Sending him a PM is much more likely to get results, Torin.

I know the webdash can be reached via Search engine. But has anyone attempted to create an App for android or Apple?
I'm guessing since the info can be accessed via a webpage then it can be accessed from an App.
I'd love to learn how to do it myself. I'm thinking of some kind of Run calling alert, on top of what the webdash already provides.
Integrate the Market page of course. Wiki. Possibility of (OOG) out of game inventory adjustments? OOG market selling and buying? OOG Character creator program? And of course a Donation button.
Plus a large fries and the moon on a stick please also..
Ive seen similar for other games.
Too much for HG? Apologies for trying to drag HG into the future....

Would be cool if Limbo would be included in Webdash:Quest Status. This may not be his fault - we haven't yet added Quest Status to the main HG info dump he probably pulls from. We'll get this added. Acaos

Possibility of (OOG) out of game inventory adjustments? OOG market selling and buying? OOG Character creator program? Seems like a *lot* of work for very minor benefits.

It does - that said, given proper security we could certainly consider a way to do OOG market and character creation, at least. Almost certainly not inventory adjustments, however (far too fragile with the way NWN works). Very low on our plates, because again it would be a *lot* of work. Acaos

Understood. I've no intention of overloading people with work. I never like to ask people to do anything I'm not willing to have a go at myself. But as a little personal project, I'd like to have a play with a webdash of my own creation. Where do I look to see the data streams? I guess I can look at the hgdash.randomsuspect.com/index.php page code and see if shows up there. Thanks guys 'trix

When I first wrote HG Webdash, I was HTML scraping existing pages that listed servers, players etc. I eventually got connected to Yomi, who pointed me to some XML files/feeds, which I used to build the current version of Webdash. Some data (Quests, Market Listing) aren't (weren't) available in XML feeds, and I didn't bother to HTML scrape those pages, opting instead to just include them as you see them now. With the resurgence of activity on the HG world, I'd love to take a pass at upgrading and adding to the webdash. I usually ping Funky once a year to see if there's anything I can tap into and add to the webdash. If quests/status was available via XML for example, I'd do a page for those. Time for my annual ping I think. -db

I pushed an update out to hgdash.randomsuspect.com tonight. Mostly an overhaul to use Twitter Bootstrap for visual framework. Much more mobile-friendly now. The old version is still reachable via link on the top right (or directly at hgdash-old.randomsuspect.com/Any bugs, issues, requests, etc, post them here. - db
