Heya Jay, 1) Make sure java (sun jre (is now oracle ) is installed 2) Extract the archive (the zip file) into a folder. 3) Execute this command in that folder: "java -jar testnew.jar" and it should come up BTW : Keep an eye on the thread, because there's a BIG release coming up soon greetz, Gollem9

Finally the promised BIG update is here!!!!!!! Magelogger public release v13(Uploaded 5 November 2010) www.datafilehost.com/download-26b0cfa7.htmlEver wondered how to find an augmenter that has : - Minimum +4 Dexterity, minimum +2 Charisma, Any boost to UMD and a boost to your will save and No vulnerability to sonic? or - Minimum + 4 Wisdom, minimum 3 lvl 6,5 & 4 spells and a boost to your heal skill? MAGELOGGER TO THE RESCUE!!! In the tools menu, you can now find the Augmenter searcher. Compose your search criteria and voila, the augmenters that meet the criteria are listed out, including all their properties. If a wiki pic exists for it, it will be shown as well btw : Big thanks to funky for helping me gather the source data.

Heya Gollem. Quick question for you.
I just re-downloaded Java, from java.com, but I get an error trying to run the app.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError at model.MageloggerModel.initSoundEngine(MageloggerModel.java:5321) at model.MageloggerModel.<init>(MageloggerModel.java:597) at executables.MageLogger.<init>(MageLogger.java:91) at executables.MageLogger.main(MageLogger.java:319) Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No line matching interface Clip s upporting format PCM_SIGNED unknown sample rate, 16 bit, stereo, 4 bytes/frame, big-endian is supported. at javax.sound.sampled.AudioSystem.getLine(Unknown Source) at javax.sound.sampled.AudioSystem.getClip(Unknown Source) at sound.SoundEffect.<init>(SoundEffect.java:52) at sound.SoundEffect.<clinit>(SoundEffect.java:21) ... 4 more
I think it might be because my audio device isn't working correctly. I don't have speakers hooked up to this PC, and never need sound from it. Is there any easy way to disable the sounds? I tried modifying the default properties file, but that didn't seem to help. Any other thoughts?
Thanks!

Heya Phal,
This is a problem that mostly occurs with linux. Arek found how to solve this and I have asked him to post a work around here.
I'll try to whip up a temp version without sound support, but am not sure when i'll be able to work on it yet. Will keep you posted.
*Update : Check your pm inbox for a temp workaround version*

Actually, this might be linux-related, but I doubt it. I've never run magelogger on a machine without any sound at all, and I doubt golly has either. If you do use linux, phal, and are comfortable rebuilding your kernel, you could try enabling the "pc speaker" sound driver in your kernel, but this is just a kludge. Also, there may be such a driver available for windows as well, or perhaps a "null" sound driver, but I'm not sure where you'd find 'em.
As for getting sound to work in linux, for those interested, my solution was to pipe java through an oss compatibility layer, since java, for whatever reason, doesn't allow you to manually select which soundcard it'll use if you have multiple sound cards/devices in your system (I have both a regular soundcard and a usb headset).
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Arek. Gollem actually sent me a new version, with sound disabled, and it worked perfectly. This was actually on a Windows box, not Linux, and his version he sent me was perfect. Thanks golly!

I've been having a problem with the logger not correctly swapping from one log to the next in Win7 Pro. Tonight, it completely caught up when I shut down the game. It even played all of the sound effects for the entire log in about 1.5 secs.
Is there any way to force it to start reading the next log file?
