-Specialist wizards now get a +2 bonus to dc for spells in their specialty school. -Made the Maze no port. -Fixed a crash bug. -Lag reduction.

Dodrudon, maze is no port not no rest. would that benefit pale masters as well funky? I assume it does which means back to the drawing board again

With the maze now being a no port zone is it possible to revisit the on-enter spawn. Or is it too late for that? Just thought I would ask

Ooh that's going to make getting certain things a right pain in the **** especially for the classes that spend all their time on said body part when in the maze.

Back to my original maze experiences I feel with a significant proportion of the party spending a lot of time dead. See that toon with no evasion or huge hp buffer, yes the one that's getting blown up every few seconds, they're going to have real fun here

Actually most time i see dachy done its a caster or cleric with his friend as soon as a server gets rebooted. With the no port thing i guess low level player will get the tag a lot less than now anyway. But on the other hand, if the seal is found the small group can leave the maze anyway for the others to port in. So nothing really changed . I think the real problem is that maze is a pain in a big group and quite easy in a small. The no port thing just tries to cover than instead of solving it.

That's completely unrelated to the reason it was made no port. People were doing cross-server invites, defeating the purpose of having the tag. No port forces players to play through the area to get the tag. Funky

I was a bit sceptically about making the maze noport. I joined a dachy run today. It was not the usual 2ppl level 60 run but a bunch of 8 ppl with half of them around and below 40. We fought our way together through the maze. Losine some ppl at the start because they took the wrong portal. Eventually we found him again. It was quite funny because you were forced to stay together and the whole run was more relaxed than normal. At last we succeed killing dachy and everyone got his tag. It was a nice run and good xp. All the lower ones reached at least 40 . Maybe it was because of the nice ppl in the group but it was one of the nices dachy runs i was in lately. So i definetly changed my mind about the patch. The noport thing might have been a good idea
