This class is based on the Guardians of Infinity, which are Chronomancers dedicated to protecting Time. The Implementation is an attempt to provide a viable alternative to many(not all) of the services of a bard within a group, while still creating a fun class to play.
Requirements: Wizard 5, Bard 5, Arcane Defense Divination, Alertness, 16 intelligence, 18 Wisdom. before level 12.
Upon reaching Guardian of infinity Status, the Guardian is able to speed up time to heal his own woulds, gaining regeneration equal to his (wisdom modifier+Intelligence modifier)x2.
The Guardian also gains an extra attack every round by the same process.
The Guardian Gains a bard's Base AB and Intuitive Attack. (the Guardian also gets a Fighters LL AB, if his control class is wizard or bard.)
The Guardian gains Great Intelligence I-III.
The Guardian Adds 2/3 his wisdom modifier to his AC if in Robes.
The Guardian may not cast spells Except Haste, Slow, Mass haste, Premonition, and Time Stop.
The Guardian may not use bard song, or gain non-Divination Epics.
The Guardian uses Bard + Wizard Levels, and Wisdom to Determine Caster Level, DC, SP.
Haste: IN addition to it's normal effects, Haste speeds up recovery time for allies, causing all knockdown effects, and non-permanent negative effects' durations to be reduced to one round. This secondary effect lasts only 3 rounds.
Slow: In addition to it's normal effects on a failed save the duration of negative effects on the affected enemies is doubled.
Considered as Divination for purpose of Spell Focii.
Mass haste: Same as Haste
Premonition: absorbs all damage types, total damage absorbed reduced by 7.5 Per Caster level.
Time Stop: Duration is 2 rounds, Allies are not Frozen in time.
The Guardian may also Begin Chronomancing. Draining a random spell from the highest level spell slot (limit selected by Guardian,similar to lifethreading). This Ages the Enemies in an Aoe Determined by the Intelligence of the Guardian, Starting at a Medium AOE, at 22 Base intelligence this expands to huge, and at 28 base Intelligence this expands to Collosal. On a failed will save the Enemies in the AOE have Their: AC, AB,Stats, Saves Reduced by (Spell level+1)/5 (minimum 1), Spell Resistance reduced by (spell level+1)/2.5 (minimum 1), Skills reduced by Spell Level.
They also take (spell level+1)x10 Magic damage (which may be toggled on/off by the guardian)
DC = Wisdom Modifier x (spell level+2.5)/5
These Effects stack and last until the enemy leaves the Aura around the Guardian.
